I have to say at first the experience was great! They made the entire process for me leasing a new RX 500 F Sport very memorable. Well I got a few extra and one of the packages I bought comes with a 7 year Ceramic coating that Johnson offers people up to 84 months to finance if you would like too. They advertise pretty heavily for it. Well, after returning my car to the dealership to get the ceramic coating put on it has to stay there for a couple of days to harden and dry. They call me to come pick up my car and I noticed it didnt quite look as shiny as it did a few days ago when I first bought it. After I drove almost 100 miles back home I did indeed notice a cloud all over the car from standing in my house. I went out to look and there was wax or ceramic that wasnt even close to being buffed in all over the car and its metal trim. I took pictures and sent them to my service advisor down there at Johnson, Tanner Mraz. I also texted him and called twice and he never got back with me. After having to call the dealership and have someone track him down for me, he finally agreed to look at the car again. So, I had to wait a drive my car another 100 miles down there just for them to take a look at it. Well, the manager of the vehicle detail section looked at it and said they would do the ceramic coating again. So, this time instead of a few days holding onto my car they called me back the next day and said it was ready. I was a little confused bc they had told me a couple of days. The car looked great and I was pleased. Now this is supposed to make your car look like the nicest wax job possible for 7 years. Not to mention protect your paint from sap, bird poop etc. Well, not even a couple months go by and I notice that stains are showing up on the car, water isnt beading up on the paint, bird poop and sap are sticking to the paint and the paint just looks dull. I had a service manager at a Toyota dealership look at the ceramic coating and tell me what was wrong and he said there isnt one on your car. I was a little perturbed. When you spend almost 80k on a car you want to protect it. First, I called my service advisor again. Tanner Mraz. Again I hear nothing back from him. Then, about 4 weeks ago I called the service center at Johnson Lexus in Raleigh again and spoke to the service manager this time. She was very nice. She assured me that within two weeks they would come pick up my car and be sure there was a ceramic coating put on it. She said again but it was never put on in the first place. I also dont get reimbursed for the hundreds of miles going back and forth to the dealership to take care of this issue. After all this I would hope to get a very large discount on the ceramic coating if not for free and the best service advisor Johnson has to work with. More
We drove to Raleigh to order a replacement door handle & was contacted days later when it came in. We scheduled a day to come back to have it installed. We did not receive a specific appointment time & advi was contacted days later when it came in. We scheduled a day to come back to have it installed. We did not receive a specific appointment time & advised it would be handled as a walk-in service. we arrived @ 9:45 & advised around 12:40 that the wrong part was ordered & another part would have to be ordered. We were given a courtesy vehicle to drive home & we would receive a call back when our vehicle was ready for pick up which was the following week. More
