The Sales As highest expectations. It involved the purchase of a 2011 Lexus RX350 and the trade-in of a 2004 Lexus ES330 and a 2007 Ford Freestyle. The Sales Associate, Sergio Escarcega, explained in great detail the benefit of ownership of the RX350 and was successful in gaining our confidence in him and in the dealership. Once we had decided on purchasing the vehicle, our price negotiations went very smoothly, with give and take on both sides, while maintaining dignity and poise at all times. I value this experience and the personal interaction with Sergio, and recommend he be considered for additional responsibilities at Johnson Lexus. This is the second time I've purchased a vehicle from Johnson Lexus. Manfred A. Schalk More

They assisted me with selecting a car that best fit my needs and finances. The salesman Mr Gray was very insightful and friendly. And the finance manager was very nice as well and he took his time explaining the paperwork to me. I am loving my car. I went from a Mercedes SUV to a Lexus RX350 SUV and I have to say I'm enjoying my Lexus a lot better. When the time comes for me to purchase another car I will return to Johnson Lexus of Raleigh. I came into the dealership looking for a used Mercedes I found online. I ended up leasing a new Lexus instead. I had never really looked at a Lexus and knew next to nothing about them. Zach explained the di found online. I ended up leasing a new Lexus instead. I had never really looked at a Lexus and knew next to nothing about them. Zach explained the different size options starting at the bottom and slowly stepping up based on my needs and interests. He wasn't pushy at all, never once did I feel like he was making a sale, he was just showing me cars. I'm a pretty picky guy when it comes to my cars and salespeople, and Zach nailed it. Jeff is a great manager to work with as well. He was patient, friendly, and honest. He appraised my trade from iPhone pictures because I was in my work vehicle and I lived over 20 min away. When it came down the payments, and interest rates, EVERYONE from Jeff to Ed in finance and plenty of other people behnd the scenes did everything they could to get me where I wanted. I really feel like everyone bent over backwards just to make me happy. This was my first purchase from Johnson Lexus and I don't think I'll shop anywhere else. I was at the neighbor Mercedes dealership earlier that week, and it didn't compare at all. The sales guy seemed uninterested in me because I'm 25 years old. He actually asked me if my parents were going to co-sign....BEFORE THE TEST DRIVE! Anyway, not only was the buying experience awesome, but the delivery process was that much better. Gift baskets, personal "delivery specialist", giant bow on the car, got my picture taken (against my will haha) ect. ect. They really make you feel like a valued customer. I couldn't imagine it getting much better than this. My girlfriend is ready for a new car soon, and I switch cars every year or so, and I promise you, it will be at Johnson Lexus of Raleigh. Hands down. More
We met with Dhahran Satterwhite and Jessica Couch who showed us a 2008 Acura MDX. It was advertised as having 1 owner, extra clean and had been through your 161 point check. Upon inspection, there were showed us a 2008 Acura MDX. It was advertised as having 1 owner, extra clean and had been through your 161 point check. Upon inspection, there were some body work issues (passenger side door scrape, mirror cracked, interior trim unglued, damage to rear bumper trim) and the Carfax report listed 2 owners. We decided to take the vehicle for a test drive, but it would not start and had to be jumped. We were told the vehicle had a new battery, but the terminal was not properly tightened down. After driving the car, we decided to make an offer, contingent upon the body/interior work be completed prior to taking delivery. We completed all the paperwork, which included transfer of the license plate from our existing vehicle. After about 1 week, we took delivery of the Acura. We brought in our license plate and Mr. Satterwhite installed it on the Acura. After a day, I noticed a few items were not working (master switch for passenger side window, HandsFreelink) and emailed Mr. Satterwhite and Ms. Couch. While the car was sold as is, I felt these items should have been working prior to our taking delivery. After all, it had been through their advertised inspection. We received a response that they were in agreement and were following up with management. Less than 1 week from taking delivery, I was to take my manager and a client to lunch and the Acura would not start. The battery was drained to the point it would not turn over. I contacted Mr. Satterwhite who instructed me to bring the vehicle to Johnson Lexus. When I went to jump start the Acura that is when I noticed the loose battery terminal connection. Something I was assured was taken care of before we took delivery. I drove the vehicle back to Johnson Lexus and showed Mr. Satterwhite the loose connection. I inquired about the other items I had emailed him about. I was met with resistance with regards to the HandsFreelink, as it was his feeling that is was an Acura issue and Johnson Lexus did not know about Acura vehicles. I was told I would have to take the vehicle to an Acura dealership to have that addressed. We were made to feel that this was our problem; I explained this was not acceptable and I expected Johnson Lexus take the vehicle to an Acura dealership and have the problem resolved. We were put in a situation where the service department did not agree with the sales department and we were left standing, literally in the hall of your dealership, between the two parties. The service department took over and assured me that things would be taken care of. I was provided a loner vehicle; however it took almost an hour to deliver that to me. After about a week and some back and forth communication with the Johnson Lexus and Leith Honda service departments, I was finally able to pick up the Acura. At that point everything worked as expected. Thankfully Jaime Jackson in the Johnson Lexus service department came through for us. About 1 week later, I received a package in the mail from Johnson Lexus; it was a license plate and registration for the 2008 Acura MDX. I called the dealership the following Monday, asking for an explanation. After several phone calls, I was finally told that the “upstairs office” erred in processing the paperwork and submitted it to NC DMV, requesting a new license plate. Even though we only paid $15 for a plate transfer, but a new plate costs $20, the $5 discrepancy was overlooked and no one thought to question it. I was driving my vehicle illegally for almost 1 week. To clear things up, I had to make a trip on my own time to the NC License plate office to sort things out, hoping I would not incur a fine as I had already cancelled the insurance on my previous vehicle. Needless to say, my first experience with Johnson Lexus pre-owned sales was, in my opinion, a complete disaster. It took almost 4 weeks to take delivery of a vehicle. I expect there may be some issues when purchasing a vehicle, new or used, but nothing that compares to what we experienced. While the management in the pre-owned sales office attempted to be apologetic, it came across as insincere. They made me feel that I should be grateful that “they” fixed everything and there seemed to be a complete disregard for my time. More

My experience with Johnson Lexus was phenomenal overall! I entered the lot to review the selection of new and used vehicles when I was politely approached by the Salesperson Will Smith. To make a long story I entered the lot to review the selection of new and used vehicles when I was politely approached by the Salesperson Will Smith. To make a long story short, Will made my first encounter a memorable one so I returned 3 weeks later as I told him I would and purchased my dream car. (ES350) He was patient, professional, and most importantly he DID NOT haggle me. As we took the test drive, He educated me on the Lexus brand and allowed me to base my decision based on MY needs and what I was looking for in a car. He spent 6 hours with me and made sure this was a smooth process. His concern was not about HIM making a sale but making sure I was a satisfied customer. It just so happened I returned the following week to have a tire replaced due to a flat and Will made sure the appointment was scheduled and he waited around until the services was completed. Due to it being close to the end of the day, Will chatted with me until the car was finished and ensured that piece of the process was followed through correctly. This was the absolute best service I have ever experienced when making a car purchase. In addition, I have to say the The Johnson Lexus team overall were great. Their ability to ensure I was happy with the purchase was quit impressive. I will recommend Johnson Lexus and will DEFINITELY recommend Will Smith. Overall he is AWESOME and the best most personable and professional Sales Rep I have seen in a very very very long time! P Williams, (A Happy Customer) More

I purchased a Lexus GX460 from Johnson Lexus in September. Zack Gray was the Salesman and he was very accommodating. This was our first Lexus purchase. The purchase of my vehicle was contrary to the traditional used car buying experience. The entirety of the transaction was handled in a very professional and courteous manner by all I came into co traditional used car buying experience. The entirety of the transaction was handled in a very professional and courteous manner by all I came into contact with; particularly Mr. Gray. At no time was there pressure felt to be hasty in my decision. He was succint yet thourough (friendly and courteous as well) in communicating information and was very knowledgable about various makes and models of many vehicles. I have informed my friends and family that if they are looking for a car to contact me first that I may give them Mr. Gray's information. More
