Bad Repairs Jones Ford Wickenburg Gary Stout- 2-19-19 I brought my wife's 2002 Ford Escape in to have a Radiator I bought installed. They called about 11:20 Jones Ford Wickenburg Gary Stout- 2-19-19 I brought my wife's 2002 Ford Escape in to have a Radiator I bought installed. They called about 11:20 am to say it was done. I didn't have them add coolant because I use a wetting agent that works better. I drove it home and opened the hood to check the fluid level. I was upset right away. The old radiator parts were left in the engine compartment and the mechanic broke the top radiator hose mount and left the part there, then I noticed a sensor that wasn't installed back in the shroud. I took pics of everything and called about 6:10pm to leave a message that I was upset at the work. The next day I brought it back and saw the owner of the dealership and told him what happened and he got the Service Mgr to take care of it. As I told him you can't leave hoses hanging next to a fan belt, at least zip tied it. He said he would handle it. He came and got me and said he fixed the sensor by popping it back into the housing and zip tied the hose to the front brace. No mention about getting a new mount to replace the broken one done by the Mechanic. So at that time the Service Mgr has talked to me about getting a partial refund for the Shotty and Lazy work. So I leave and go home and figure I'll drive my wife to work in the car since it's done. We get 3/4 of the way there and hear a pop and the car jerked. I make it to the Private Residence where my wife works as a Mental Health Therapist. As I drop her off and start to back out the clean driveway the car just revs it's engine and finally engages and goes backwards. As I look ahead I see a large pool of oil on the ground and leading out the driveway from the car. My wife is in shock and I'm pissed again and try to get it back to the dealer. I only make it as far as the rear parking lot on Vulture Mine Rd and Hwy 93. I was stuck and had to call a tow truck and they said $80 to tow it. Then I called and talked to owner and told him and he thought it was strange and said he would send his tow truck to bring me there. I called back the truck i called to cancel. While waiting I opened the engine hood and everything was covered in transmission fluid. I looked down where the transmission line goes into the radiator and there was no hose on it, it was pointed up. It blew off I guess because there was no hose clamp holding it on and built up enough pressure to blow off and spray all over the engine and ground. Keep in mind I took photos of all this that has happened for two days of a two hour radiator installation job. So now the Service Mgr is looking at it with me and we both see its the missing hose on the lower radiator. At that time again the Service Mgr tells me not to worry they will fix it and give me a Refund on the work. Now keep in mind I've wasted two days at the dealer. My wife was at that job location for 3 weeks so I told the Service Mgr I had to go back to clean it up and he said let him know if they can do anything to make this right he gave me a bag of Oil absorbent for the driveway but by the time I got back there it wasn't working. The oil had already stained the new driveway. So I took a video of all the stain damage and called the Service Mgr and said the driveway needs to be Pressure Washed and he agreed to have it done and asked the address and who to arrange it with, I gave him my wife's name and number and address. The home my wife works at is a privately owned home by the state. Now keeping in mind that we had a winter storm came through Feb 21 and 22nd, I called the 21st and left a message for the Service Mgr stating I will accept the Refund Offer. So far I've heard nothing back from anyone. We shouldn't be affraid to bring out vehicles there to have work done on them and we shouldn't have to check to make sure the job was done and done right. We expect communication and a mechanic that knows how to fix not only the vehicles but anything they break. More
Bad tire service I had a leaking rear tire and took it to the quick lube and they could not remove the tire because it had key locks and could not remove wheel because I had a leaking rear tire and took it to the quick lube and they could not remove the tire because it had key locks and could not remove wheel because I did not have the key. I bought it used and did not know the lug key was missing. They couldn't remove the lug nuts so I went home and removed them myself using a method given on you tube. I called Jones Ford back and was given a 2:30 appointment. I showed up at 2:25 and was told by the manager that I would have to wait 2 to 2 1/2 hours as they were back logged. I said I had an appointment and the manager shrugged her shoulders! I walked out. I went to Discount tire and bought 4 new tires. I've been living here 23 years and have three cars and had bought tires at Jones Ford since they opened that service. I will not ever use them again. Discount Tire was very professional and worth the drive. More
Liars and total waste of time to even go to the store I went to buy a car that was supposed to get really good mpg, took a test drive, was ready to make a cash deal but the salesman said he would not reco I went to buy a car that was supposed to get really good mpg, took a test drive, was ready to make a cash deal but the salesman said he would not recomend I buy the car? I asked him to explain ? He said don’t do it! Am glad I didn’t buy,! I found out later the government was exposing ford for exaggerating the mpg! Another time I took my truck in about the transmission, the mechanic said I can give you a deal if you want, private side deal. Wanted 600.00 cash and said he would do it on his day off but use the company equipment, sorry I cannot trust them , they advertise their business as a friendly and caring dealer, stay away from them , you will be disappointed and pay more!!!! Be warned!!!’ More

Poor aftercare. I drove from surprise to here for a truck I saw online. Didn't haggle the price, pretty much drive up, said this truck, test drive it and was ready to buy. The price was fine, for a used hauling truck, but the "aftercare" from Casey Clarke (internet sales manager) was horrible. I've been waiting since I got the vehicle (1-9-18) for my vehicles handicap plates, and my temp plates are set to expire on 2-20-18. When I bought the vehicle, I was told it was smogged, until I got a letter in the mail, post dated 1-16-18 that I needed to get it smogged. I handled it quickly and even tried to get my plates myself at the MVD, but it wasn't registered to me yet because it needed to be smogged. So I get in touch with Casey and the smog certificate is picked up on 1-22-18. I've called and texted him several times since, each time I get "as soon as they are in there's a note for me to call you, they should have been in by now, someone is home for the day and it would be in their file cabinet, they aren't in yet, etc, etc." Forward to today and I'm mad. My plates expire in 5 days I try to tell him I'm the customer, I haven't gotten a call back about anything and I want my plates. I get hung up on. Then they call back and Casey tells me I need to act like an adult, oh and that I hung up on him, not the other way around. I don't need to do anything, I need to be provided with customer service, not be constantly told excuses on where my plates are. Or maybe when I asked if it was smogged in the office, they should find out instead of saying yes it is and have me sign something saying so. I need a sales person who will admit when they are wrong and not put a customer on a back burner simply because the cash already changed hands. Which I don't get, I paid cash, no loan no nothing. Maybe that's why they don't care about me here and Jones Ford, but I got plenty of reasons to buy my next vehicle somewhere else. And none where from the buying experience, aftercare. More

Later my car wouldn’t start so I called AAA again and this time they sent a tow truck and it took me to Jones Quick Lube. It was closing time but Service person Mike told me they would phone at 9AM the next day and let me know what was wrong. I also wanted them to repair my flat and put that on and look over the car. At 9 am Mike called, told me it was only a wire from the starter that came off, he also recommended a new air filter. My car was ready to go at 10 AM the next morning and even though I was a woman alone they were very honest and did not add any thing to my bill. More
