The things you should always be looking for outside of a quality vehicle is a fair price, straight forward contracts, and a hassle free buying experience. You will get all those things at Joyce Honda. The whole Joyce Honda staff took very good care of my husband and I. We saw the car we wanted online and called ahead to inquire as to whether or not the finance team would accept the proposed price we could afford. Our salesman Corey said he would talk to his manger and call me back. Within 15 minutes I got a call back and he said they could get close. Once we got there, Corey had everything set up for us and we proceeded through a speedy and no shenanigans sales process. No back and forth, no gimmicks. What we could do vs what they would do and they came in slightly under our asking bid. Bottom line is we happily bought the car we wanted at a very fair price. The value and straight forward customer care we received shows why Joyce Honda should be an industry leader. TJ, Andre, and especially Corey were absolutely all pleasures to work with. Amazing Customer Service I went in to Joyce Honda wanting to purchase a 2012 Honda Civic SI that I saw on auto trader. The minute that I walked in to the used car center Bill I went in to Joyce Honda wanting to purchase a 2012 Honda Civic SI that I saw on auto trader. The minute that I walked in to the used car center Bill Lally greeted me with a smile. The vehicle I was looking for had been sold earlier in the week, but he was able to find me one in a different color with less miles that was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable with the features of the car, and he got me the price that I was looking to spend for the car. It was a quick and easy process and Bill was extremely accommodating. Even the finance department was great. Everyone I dealt with was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and wanted to get me in the car that I wanted that day. I am so glad that I chose Joyce Honda to be the first dealership I went to, and I am glad that Bill Lally was the one who greeted me and helped me out through the process. Repair difficult Check Engine Light on 2004 Honda CRV My experience with the Service Department of Joyce Honda of Route 10 could not have gone any smoother. And this was all due to the professionalism and courtesy of Diana Alvarado. She is awesome! I had a persistent check engine light that signified a major engine rebuild but as bleak as it looked, Diana took charge of the case and kept me totally abreast of what was needed, what my options were, and promised that she would take care of contacting the extended warranty people for me explaining the scenario. The service team worked diligently on my car and actually also called Honda Engineering to get their input, illustrating the complexity of the situation. And this all was done under the guidance and project lead of Diana. Diana is the epitome of a service professional who truly cares about her customers. She is a blue chip employee and should be lauded for her excellent service and professionalism. Joyce Honda is now my Auto dealer of choice and it is all due to Diana Alvarado. Straight foreward deal but some things need improvement. The online sales person T.J. was so nice and had great communication while researching my new car online. She was friendly and made me feel welcome upon my arrival to buy my new Honda Civic. The dealer show room itself had a bit lacking though. There is no customer waiting area except to sit at a desk in two chairs. There are no complimentary beverages such as a water cooler or tea/coffee for people coming to spend their money on a new car. I have seen this at many other dealerships and when you are there for 3 hours it would be nice not to have to buy water from the vending machine. I had my price upon my arrival so I figured it wouldn't take very long to get out of the dealership. I was wrong. I had to wait an hour even though I was done with everything else just to meet with the finance person. They only had one finance person. They used to have two but a I was told one guy quit. It was really frustrating since everything else was completed and I was just sitting there trapped and waiting. I final got my car cleaned and ready to go after 3 hours. It was raining and I mistakenly assumed they would clean all the dirt/mud that was on the interior floors before putting down the new dealer mats. Again, I was wrong I looked under the mats ( THE CLEANING CREW EVEN SAID THAT HARDLY ANYONE EVER DOES THAT) and THEY had just covered it up with the mats. They didn't even bother to vacuum!! Not very professional practice! My sales guy, Steve who was very nice, took the car back to them to fix the issue. Again, I had to wait longer. When I finally met with the finance guy I asked about the "Honda" Extended warranty. He said that they didn't sell it and sold me the Joyce Honda warranty. When I got home I found out that indeed they did sell the Honda warranty which is called Honda care. I felt misled. I called the general manager and they did rectify it for me. They said it was a misunderstanding. They apologized. They Internet sales person TJ and my sales guy Steve were very nice and when I came in to get my plates they treated me like family.This dealership would be better if they did some upgrades to the atmosphere in the dealership, got another finance person and had some beverages (maybe even snacks) for their customers that wait for so long to buy a car from them! More
HANDS DOWN - THE BEST HONDA DEALERSHIP IN NJ, HERE'S WHY. This was the easiest, stress free car buy experience of my life. I went to Joyce Honda with absolutely no intention of buying from them because there This was the easiest, stress free car buy experience of my life. I went to Joyce Honda with absolutely no intention of buying from them because there are 3 Honda dealers in much closer proximity to my house. I stopped in one day during my lunch break to look at new Pilot and get familiar with the vehicle. I was right up front with my sales associate, Farah and told him "I'm just here to look". He asked for me to give them a shot and was confident he could get me in a car with the best price around. Now we all know how Honda works when a new model year car comes out. Dealers will tell you that they have a backlog of customers and not enough cars to satisfy the demand. This may be the case, but as I consumer, It frustrates the xxxx out of me. Joyce Honda had a few Pilots on the lot, but never once gave me the "supply & demand", high pressure sales pitch. Farah went to Rudy (the manager) and came back with a very, very competitive price. When they threw in over $1,000 worth of really nice Honda OEM accessories to sweeten the deal, it was impossible for me to pass it up. I signed a deal later that day. Step 2 is usually a high pressure sales pitch to sign you up for a service contract and rip you off with a high interest rate on a new car loan. Not at Joyce Honda - they explain the different plans to you, give you a competitive price and ask you if your interested or not. Simple. They worked with several banks to get me an interest rate that I couldn't find lower anywhere (including the credit union from the large pharmaceutical company that I work for). I highly recommend this dealership for the competitve pricing, professional staff and overall buying experience. They are a family-owned dealership and have all the qualities that go along with that, yet provide that "highway dealership" pricing that we've all grown so fond of. So you get the best of both worlds. Bottom line - don't buy anything without talking to Joyce Honda. More
