No more Honda's For Our Family We have a 2010 odysee, we have our car serviced at our local mechanic due to the fact that he is well known and trusted in our small town and I was at We have a 2010 odysee, we have our car serviced at our local mechanic due to the fact that he is well known and trusted in our small town and I was at the dealer for hours with three small children every time is go to the dealer! Our mechanic found a leak in the steering rack, the car has less than 60,000 miles on it. This should not happen to this car at this point. We called Honda Customer Care who informed us that if they choose to help us we must first have the car inspected by the dealer. We called Joyce Honda and we were told that they would charge $134 to look at the car. The cost of this repair with our trusted mechanic is going to run about $1,200. We contacted Honda Customer Service again to see if this fee could be waived as this is a repair that should not be necessary. We were told that each dealership is privately owned and there was nothing to do about the fee. We are choosing to not spend an additional $134 on the car and are going to our trusted mechanic to have the issue fixed. Honda Customer Service did say that if we had the car looked at by the dealer they could consider helping us based on our loyalty in the past by using their dealerships to service our car and any prior Honda's that we have owned. If the dealerships are privately owned why would Honda Customer Care put weight in their decision about who services our vehicle? Honda had a chance to do the right thing and failed. The gentleman we spoke with at Joyce Honda actually laughed. Very disappointing, we will not be purchasing a Honda ever again! More

The kids didn't bother him, in fact they still ask to go visit Mr. Moe! More

It is always a difficult task going from different dealerships trying to get a "good deal" as well as receive good service. After a number of awful experiences at two dealerships, we traveled to Joyce Honda in Denville this holiday weekend. We were lucky enough to be serviced by two excellent sales professionals, Mario Delorio and Moe Elhamouly. Their knowledge of the car and patience with my negotiating, as well as help from a number of other staff members, settled it for both of us, and we purchased our new Accord at Joyce Honda. The deal was excellent and the service was extraordinary. No pressure - no hassle. What we also learned was that their service department is set up great as well. You do not have to call and make an appointment - we simply pull-up to the service bays and they service our car immediately! Best financial decision my wife and I have made in years! More
