I recently took my 2006 Acura MDX to Koons Honda for service. The car runs great, but Acura no longer makes parts for it. The vehicle needed a new sensor to pass an emissions test. Koons Honda Service Advisor Joe DeGuzman was outstanding. He was able to find a used part which worked perfectly. Because it took time to locate the part, he provided me with a loaner car in the meantime. Joe was able to find a solution despite the car's advanced age. He also identified and fixed a suspension issue , as well as making sure the vehicle passed both safety and emissions testing so I could re-register the vehicle in Virginia. Mr. DeGuzman was a true gentlemen, provided me with his personal cell so I could reach him directly. I've never experienced that at a dealership before (usually it's annoying phone trees and hold times at other dealerships I've dealt with prior to Koons). He was so pleasant to deal with both on the phone and in person. He really cares and it shows. He also cut me a break on labor with installation of the used part. he even made sure the car was cleaned thoroughly just prior to my pickup. He definitely won my trust and I would highly Koons Honda for service, especially Service Advisor Joe DeGuzman. He really deserves special recognition! Thank you Joe! More

I have been a customer of Joyce Koons Honda for almost 20years. Have purchased several cars from them and used their service department for most of that time. for the past few years Karen Huntington has 20years. Have purchased several cars from them and used their service department for most of that time. for the past few years Karen Huntington has been my service advisor. She is excellent in advising what the mechanics recommend and what can wait for later service. Any problems that arise regarding a work issue is quickly and easily resolved and there have been only one or two of these over the years. Can you find less costly service options----yes, but in doing so you risk less than optimum service work. The technicians at Koons know what they are doing and they do the work well. As for the sales staff-----Get a life people. They are in business to sell cars and they will do everything in their power to sell you the car you need. I always study closely the price of the automobile I want and I have found over the years that Koons will sell me that car for less than I expected to pay. Not sure what racist microagressions is but I do know that in today's environment we throw the "R" word around like Halloween candy. Sorta tired of hearing all that. Anyway, Koons will treat you right if you give them the chance.. More

The Honda team did a good job trying to find the electrical issue with my Honda Odyssey. It turns out that it is a wiring issue not covered by my warranty and would cost over $800 to repair. They did replace my battery to see if that would resolve my electrical issues. Sadly, it did not resolve the issues with my screens, backup camera, speakers, and stereo. So, I'm annoyed that nothing can be done for a reasonable cost. This IS NOT a NEGATIVE RATING on the Team, but I am annoyed that dealership was going to charge me a lot of a issue that still cannot be diagnosed. More
