After a less than impressive experience with another Chevrolet dealership, I contacted Kipo and was connected with Dawn Sawyer. In 10 minutes, Dawn was able to give me more information about the Equin Chevrolet dealership, I contacted Kipo and was connected with Dawn Sawyer. In 10 minutes, Dawn was able to give me more information about the Equinox and the various options that were available to us and the availability of the exact 2013 model we were interested in than the other dealer had done in more than a week of correspondence with them. The other dealer was not very responsive when I would call to inquire as to the availability of the model we wanted. When I would get a call back from them, usually after a day or so, I would be told that they were "waiting " to hear if that particular model was available for dealer trade. Dawn is an amazing researcher and was able to find out within minutes of researching on the computer, that the model we were after was not available. The other dealer kept trying to steer us in the direction of a 2014 Equinox even though we told them that we were only buying a new car because of the amazing rebates on the remaining 2013 models. Dawn never tried to do that. She understood and respected the our needs. However, within several days of knowing that we were unable to get the exact model and options in the 2103 Equinox and deciding to "wait" a year to buy, we contacted Dawn and told her that we wanted the 2014 Equinox. She got us exactly what we wanted. Yes, we spent a bit more than we had expected to spend given the fact that this was a 2014 model, but still felt that we received a good and fair deal with Dawn doing her best to work within our budget. Even though Kipo is a good 45 minute drive from our home, we will be going there for our servicing and future car buying needs. Caring and responsive customer service is more than worth the little bit of extra time it takes to drive out there. Besides, it is a beautiful drive in the fall.
