I was told I needed a whole new engine- almost $8000. 00. Was told coolant was leaking into the block. Ford mechanic kept telling me that’s why it was misfiring on a cold start but I was telling him it wa 00. Was told coolant was leaking into the block. Ford mechanic kept telling me that’s why it was misfiring on a cold start but I was telling him it wasn’t doing that. Took it to another mechanic who soaked the spark plug and was able to fix the problem for $600. He scoped it and no coolant in the block. They almost cost me an $8000 mistake. More
