It was almost 80 years ago when, Karl Knauz the father of the current chairman, Bill Knauz, created the dealership that would bear his name for generations to come. Karl Knauz after years of being a chauffeur opened a gas station in Lake Forest. Did he imagine that this modest beginning would come to be one of the most recognized dealerships in the country. The franchises they have now, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, MINI, Land Rover, Hyundai, smart have put their trust in the Knauz family, (with Mercedes-Benz going all the way back to 1959). Came in here shopping for a convertable. They told me that no room to negotiate, even with summer winding down. He sort of went through the motions, but I felt that he was not concerned with making a sa that no room to negotiate, even with summer winding down. He also broke the cardinal rule of car sales: Not asking if I wanted coffee, water,etc before we sat down to discuss details of sale and $. Ended up in another dealership with a good price and that cup of coffee. More

Knauz is really nice looking dealership, but their sales that I've encountered think too highly of themselves. I was told that there's no negotiations on European Delivery(no discount of ED MSRP), and the that I've encountered think too highly of themselves.
