Our experience leasing a car at Karp Auto was GREAT. The customer service was amazing and everyone was friendly, nice, helpful, professional, and efficient. Great quality team work! Especially, Michael Rosenberg who was our sales and leasing consultant was superb and efficient. We were in great hands from the beginning to the end. Michael made sure we were happy and satisfied. He arranged a car to pick us up and bring us to the store. Donn, the driver, was nice and pleasant. Ron Salas, who worked on our credit report was extremely nice and friendly. The manager, David Wells, greeted us kindly and arranged for us a courtesy car to drive home when needed. Thank you David for working with us and making things possible. We appreciate it. My husband and I love our new Kia Optima and are extremely happy. On our way home, we both shared how enjoyable and relaxing the experience was. Thanks to Michael Rosenberg who helped us make the best choice for our needs and budget. He was very patient helping us choose a car, and especially had patience with us since my 11 month old daughter was with us. Michael was honest, knowledgeable, reasonable, polite, courteous, and very friendly even to my daughter. Michaels presence was warm and approachable. He took his time to show us how the features in our awesome car works. He even asked us when would be the best time to call the next day to follow up. We are very grateful to Michael for making sure that our experience getting a car was a positive one. We will be back and are loyal customers to Michael. Thank you Michael! More

They helped us out of a car that was not suitable for our family. allof the salesman were nothing but proffessional, honest and courteous. I would like to thank Todd Johnson for being honest with us from the start of the sale and guiding us. Also Ed McGarr was the best salesman by far. He was not pushy and just helped us in anyway he could. Jonathan Hernandez gave us our tour of the car after our purchase. he was also a wonderful person. we cannot thank Karp Kia enough for all they did for our family. More
skid light came on for the 2nd time this yr. It was repaired last July and now I had the exact same problem. Work done at no cost under the warranty but it was a pain having to go back and waste time o repaired last July and now I had the exact same problem. I have bought and leased many cars in the past and it has always been a grueling experience. However, my experience with this dealership was nothing but pleasurable. Jeff Ruocco was very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the vehicle we were leasing. Not having to sit at a dealership for hours to make a deal was fantastic. Picking up the vehicle was painless. Mr. Ruocco was ready when we walked in. He brought us to the service station and showed us around. He truly went out of his way to make us comfortable. Also, I never dealt with a finance dept rep who had a smile on their face. Todd Johnson was polite and friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. David Wells who is the manager came out and shook our hands and was very personable. He thanked us for coming in and made us feel welcomed. Again, I have never experienced such friendly, courteous, and personable people at a car dealership like I have at Karp. What a pleasure! My experience was so wonderful that I'm probably going back in a few months to lease another car. More
In the end of 2011 I was looking to purchase a new vehicle. I had my heart set on purchasing a 2012 Kia Sorento. At that time I noticed that Karp was in the process of opening up a dealership right do vehicle. I had my heart set on purchasing a 2012 Kia Sorento. At that time I noticed that Karp was in the process of opening up a dealership right down the block from where I was living at the time. I saw Karp grow and build from selling Volvo to Buick and finally Kia. So I knew it would be a perfect match. I went on on 12/23/2011 and met with Jonathan Hernandez and his boss Kevin Bradley. Both of them treated me with the respect and dignity that you don't usually see at a car dealership. Both of them took the time to answer my concerns and all the questions that I had. Jonathan allowed me to test drive the car and from that point I knew I would be driving off the lot that day. I also found out that on the day that I bought my new Kia Sorento that I was the first offical car buying customer for the dealership. Which was truly an honor. I purchased a Kia Rio 5 Door hatchback from this dealership on 5/11/2012. Just a couple of days earlier, I had a very negative experience at another Kia dealership in East Meadow, NY so I was not l dealership on 5/11/2012. Just a couple of days earlier, I had a very negative experience at another Kia dealership in East Meadow, NY so I was not looking forward to dealing with anymore salespersons. However, Victor Travaglianti of Karp Kia made this process so easy and comfortable for me. I came in on the afternoon / evening of the 10th, saw that the vehicle I was looking for was in stock and was able to work out all the details with Victor in a very short amount of time. There was no pressure whatsoever. I left there feeling very satisfied with the price of the vehicle and the level of service I received. The next day, on the 11th, I went in with my husband so he could test drive the car and so I could finalize the sale of our new car. He too was glad I had chosen this dealership and was very proud that I was able to handle this on my own (unlike prior car purchases)! By the way, the car is beautiful and so much fun to drive. I strongly recommend Karp Kia and thank you again Victor T. More
This was a positive experience for us as seasoned lease people. We went into the dealership with a certain price in mind, a few months prior to our current lease end. We were advised by Ed to wait a month or so this way our costs would not have to include the remainder of our current lease plus the other incentives could be worth our wait. Very good advice and no pressure. We were wildly impressed. Upon returning three months later, we met with Michael who was determined to have us as a Karp Kia customer. He explained enthusiastically about this family-owned company and how is was fairly new but completely a proud and devoted employee. We were impressed again. He then showed us the Sorrento because we were giving up the Ford Edge and that was comparable...Michael's love for his own car, Kia Optima, persuaded my husband to switch to a car after being a faithful Ford SUV'er for more than 10 years! Michael worked so diligently locating the the right Optima, with the right package and color we desired. Unfortunately, this was a difficult task and the other dealership, that had the car we needed, failed to honor Michael's request and he needed to look further. Michael located our car in New Jersey and actually went there to pick it up so he could be guaranteed the deal was done. Ed, our original salesman, was thrilled we followed his advice and happily signed off on our sale as he is now a sales manager. Todd finalized our sale quite friendly and professionally. I have given my recent experience with Karp Kia the highest rating in regards to customer service and expertise. Vic was very well versed in the attributes of the Sportage and conducted himself with th highest rating in regards to customer service and expertise. Vic was very well versed in the attributes of the Sportage and conducted himself with the highest level of professionalism. I had been putting off the prospect of buying a new car since I thougth the process would be overwhelming... I was completely wrong. This transaction went very well and I would welcome the opportunity to refer Vic to any of my family and friends. More
I recently purchased a Kia Forte at Karp Kia in Rockville Centre. Having purchased several cars in the past, I was concerned when I first walked into the dealership. I was pleasantly surprised though with the help that I received. When Victor Travaglianti stood up to greet both my daughter and me, I immediately liked his approach - he has a very pleasant presence, as well as giving a very approachable vibe. He offered his help without any pressure. It was an easy-going kind of help - exactly the kind I wanted. I did not want nor do I like someone hovering and pushing. Victor's approach was perfect. He made it comfortable for me to ask questions without ever feeling pressured. The entire experience from start to finish was pain-free. In less than a week I purchased a Kia Forte, and I feel as though I purchased it, and not like he "sold" it to me in the sense of being "talked" into it. Victor was very accomodating as well. I initially thought I wanted a particular model and color and the next day he had that model and color brought to the Rockville Centre location. Yet I still did not feel pressured to purchase it. He knew that I wanted to keep costs down to a minimum and respected my wishes, never pushing for anything beyond what I was requesting. As it turned out, I purchased the model in showroom, which was not the base model that I had initially requested. The dealership itself is clean and pleasant. The salespeople all look pleasant and helpful. The selection of cars is just enough to satisfy most customers looking to purchase and/or lease a car. The prices are reasonable in today's economy and the bonus is the 10 year or 100,000 mile warranty. I highly recommend this dealership as well as Victor Travaglianti in particular. More
