My salesperson Victor Travaglianti was so very helpful and accommodating from the time I stepped through the door. The manager even stop by the desk and said good morning and shook our hands. As I drove off I was congratulated and received handshakes and waves like it was a comericial. I will DEFINATELY do business with them again and recommend to ALL my friends and anyone else I even overheard looking to purchase a Kia. Thank you soooooo much guys for the best experience EVER!! This was my first experience of purchasing a new car. With my good friend Chris, I went the rounds of dealerships to look at, price, and, pardon me, Butt check the seating of many of the new vehicles ava With my good friend Chris, I went the rounds of dealerships to look at, price, and, pardon me, Butt check the seating of many of the new vehicles available. I suffer from back pain, so I was looking at crossover type s that would allow me to be seated in a more upright position. At many places we were followed closely by salesmen who seemed to be reciting their lessons of memorized trivia as fast as possible in case I might be won over by resale value or crash test results. when we were rather clear that I really didn't care about that, and was checking for comfort at that time. One gentleman kept pushing the keys at me and insisting that I start it. I said , "I hope I can assume that it starts." At Karp Kia, my friend Chris told me that he Knew Vic from his own search for a car. When Vic saw us he came over and greeted Chris and met me as the customer. We told him we were looking around, and he left us alone to do so. Other salesmen came towards us, asking if we needed help and when told no, left us alone. So I got to talk to my friend as we looked at the many models available. I liked the Sportage most and especially the silver and black one. I liked that I noticed the options package was standard with all the newest technology included. When we came back the next day to test drive some of the models, Vic was very friendly and he answered my questions and offered the knowledge that mattered to me instead of making a speech. Now we came to the making a deal part. I cracked my knuckles and put on my game face. However, Vic just presented me with a great deal that fit my stringent budget. And get this ... he let me leave to think it over! Well it wasn't too hard to decide, with the Kia, I got a great deal on the Sportage , and I wouldn't have to break the budget or worse take a stripped down model that wouldn't really seem like a new car at all. So I have to say that my experience with Vic at Karp Kia was excellent on all levels and I love my new car. More

Simply put Karp Kia makes the car buying/leasing process an enjoyable experience. I had been dreading getting a car because I didn't want to be hoodwinked and listen to all these snake oil salesmen that pe an enjoyable experience. I had been dreading getting a car because I didn't want to be hoodwinked and listen to all these snake oil salesmen that permeate this industry. Karp Kia never made me feel that way and it was mainly due to our salesman Vic Travaglianti. He wasn't pushy at all and he explained everything throughout. Our negotiation felt like a discussion and not some pretend spectacle. Before signing anything Vic would point to all the figures and explain what they meant. Upon picking the car up Vic took the time to show us all the features of the car right down to the simplest thing such as how to lock the car. It's not overkill, it's a nice courtesy. He even set up our bluetooth and made sure it worked. I even received a call today from Vic asking how the car was doing and if I had any questions or concerns. The bottom line is if you are looking to get a car go to Karp. They don't treat you like a mark, they treat you like a human being. More
I went to Kia today to get my 1st oil change on my 2012 Kia Soul. First let me start by saying I called at 10:30 a.m. while I was online to make an appt. for tomorrow. When I spoke to Ronnie in Service and Kia Soul. First let me start by saying I called at 10:30 a.m. while I was online to make an appt. for tomorrow. When I spoke to Ronnie in Service and she told me it was ok for me to come today at 1:00 p.m. which sounded great to me. I then clicked on the online service anyway just in case this appt. fell through. About 15 minutes later the Wonderful and Talented Kendra called me and informed me that my e-mail was received. I told her I was coming today instead and asked if she could print my coupon that I had received for a $9.95 oil change because I was having some printing issues. She did that no problem at all and said she would leave it for me in Service. Unfortunatly when I mentioned the coupon to Ronnie on my initial call she had no idea about this offer. Which is ok, I do understand that the Service Dept. might not know about all the coupons given to customers but was kinda surprised. The plus today was seeing Jonathan, Kevin and meeting Mr. Karp which they were All super pleasant. Now the not so pleasant part. I got there at 12:55 p.m. and had to wait for someone to check me in at Service outside. Got into the actual Service Dept. at 1:13 p.m. I was told by Matt in Service that it would take an hour for the oil change. I was kinda surprised because I have never waited an hour for an oil change on any car. But I said ok, I would wait. Well at 2:30 p.m. I was like hmmm this is a long wait for an oil change. Matt came to me and said 'your car should be ready in 5 minutes'. Finally at 2:40 p.m. I asked what was going on and I was informed by Ronnie my car was ready (my keys and bill were on her desk). Another young lady (I think her name was Vicki)checked me out - she was pleasant and apologized for the wait. Unfortunatly Kia Service did not have the free touch up paint I was supposed to get, it had to be ordered (boo hoo - I live 1 hour away and for me to take another trip to Karp to get this free gift is not fun). I asked could they send it to me via mail and Ronnie told me no :( Also, my laptop did not pick up their wifi :( hmmm - but that was ok - I played my scrabble for an hour and a half instead. Got to my car and the young lady in the Service area outside was trying to unlock my car and was chirping the wrong alarm on my keychain (for another non-kia car) not the Kia keychain alarm which says Kia on it (lol). Left the lot at 2:49 p.m. Otherwise it was a pleasure to see Kendra, Jonathan and Kevin. If I have another 1 hour and 45 minutes to spare on my day off or in the evening (on top of the hour drive) I will go back for my 6000 mile oil change just to see the friendly folks at Karp (Jonathan, Kevin and Kendra) but I must admit it was not pleasant waiting that long for an oil change.
