I took my car in for an oil change and waited over 30 mins for someone to come out and check me in! I was told it would take about 2 hours. After 2 1/2 hours I asked if my car was ready and was told mayb mins for someone to come out and check me in! I was told it would take about 2 hours. After 2 1/2 hours I asked if my car was ready and was told maybe another 30-45 mins. At this point I became upset and asked if it was because I “paid extra” for complimentary service. They said no but it sure didn’t look that way. I didn’t even get a complimentary car wash!!! It was almost 3p before I got out of there. I guess I’ll be going to another dealership for my service. Not that, that will bother anyone there!!😢 More
The service team was great. Every car transaction is going to be a little sketchy, but overall I felt like they had my best interests in mind. Good experience. I had previously submitted a 3 star rating based on my incorrect identification and interpretation of the brake fluid replacement interval. I change my rating to 5 star. I need to trust the service department more, they do a good job…. More

After making an appointment, I was told it would take 10 days to get a diagnostic on my car problem. On business day 11, it took me so much time and effort to reach a service rep. I was then told it would actually get a diagnostic the following week. 3 business WEEKS for a diagnostic. Needless to say, I made an appointment with another Hyundai dealership in the city, for the following morning. I dropped my car off at 7:15am, and my service rep called me by 10:20am to say that my car was fixed. Unfortunately, Kearny Mesa Hyundai is not a dealership that I will recommend to anyone. More
