I’ve just had it with Kearny Mesa Kia. I don’t know why I keep going back. Besides the horriblly rude greeter who has never been nice upon arrival, my service manager, Vanessa, apparently I don’t know why I keep going back. Besides the horriblly rude greeter who has never been nice upon arrival, my service manager, Vanessa, apparently confused me with another customer. My car was finished but the entire dealership went to their Christmas party outside - leaving me inside to wait for hours. I had no idea the dealership was going to be away as nothing was communicated to me. So I sat for 5 hours waiting for a 120k tuneup and an engine flush unnecessarily while they all went to their party. Unreal. They did give em $60 off, but it’s just a list of ongoing issues I’ve had with this place. 1. The car wash was broken for years each time I came to KM Kia. 2. Life had a service manager almost message me relentlessly in the past to give him a perfect score - when that should be my decision. No joke, he texted and called me for days to give him a perfect. 3. My first time I went in 2017, I sat for almost 7 hours waiting for a part to arrive from national city. Even the service manager was appalled at that. 4. And there are other minor things. I’m in the market for a new car in about 12 months. I like Kia for several reasons, but I will drive to El Cajon or Chula Vista before I set foot in KM Kia again. More
