Typically, if an oil plug were loose or came off, the vehicle would show signs of a problem almost immediately and likely wouldn’t be drivable for long. Since the issue was reported weeks after the service and we didn’t have a chance to inspect the vehicle, it’s difficult to determine exactly what happened.
