DO NOT GO TO THIS STEALERSHIP! !!! They will scam you at any chance they get! I truly wish I could give a negative star review because our experience with them was beyond poor. They !!! They will scam you at any chance they get! I truly wish I could give a negative star review because our experience with them was beyond poor. They lied to us about price that we were adamant about not going over then went 6k over that price when we showed up to buy the car as long as it looked as good in person. They lied and certified this vehicle when they hadn't done the necessary inspections and it didn't meet the guidelines. It had been in a SERIOUS wreck that still had over 18k worth of damage and poor repair work that needed to be redone. Of course when I tried to contact ANYONE we had spoken to they wouldn't take or return ANY of our calls! This tells me all I need to know that they were perfectly aware of the condition of this car and the lies they told to sell it. Otherwise why ghost us when we haven't even told you why were calling. This is s VERY short summary of the xx that went down with them. I just dont have enough time to share every last detail because this is still an ongoing issue that we have been trying to resolve for a month now. Predatory and Unethical behavior Misleading sales adds/ showing a low price online then way higher when you get there. Deceitful practices/Outright Fraud! Certifying used cars that dont even come close to meeting requirements, not only ruining their name but the Toyota name in the process Poor service team- they were supposed to replace a part while we were there that had caused an issue, they replaced that part but not the other part that was also really messed up. This is the only car we came to look at an to possibly purchase and we were there for 5 hours!!!! After driving 4 hours to get there with our 5 year old that was running a fever. (yes we had a sitter they couldn't watch him because of his fever) More
We had a wonderful experience at the Keating Toyota dealership from start to finish! We worked with Arturo, he was patient and listened to our wants. His knowledge of the vehicles and process made our dealership from start to finish! We worked with Arturo, he was patient and listened to our wants. His knowledge of the vehicles and process made our decisions easy. Finance was equally awesome and very quick. We were there for approximately 3 hours from start to finish. They also informed us about Toyota car insurance which we didn’t know existed because I was talking about looking for a new policy after the price rose. I priced multiple companies and Toyota was the cheapest! Check out this location, you won’t regret it! Totally worth our 1.5 drive. Thank you all for our 2024 Platinum Toyota Tundra we are in love with the Luna rock coloring. We will be back. More

Keating Toyota Strikes once again on predatory and unethical behavior to boost their commissions. BUYERS BEWARE OF SHADY PRACTICES BETWEEN MR. SHAWN NAWAZ & MR. MICHAEL CHARLES TLDR: As a First unethical behavior to boost their commissions. BUYERS BEWARE OF SHADY PRACTICES BETWEEN MR. SHAWN NAWAZ & MR. MICHAEL CHARLES TLDR: As a First time car buyer, my dream turned into a NIGHTMARE due to UNETHICAL BAIT & SWITCH PRACTICES BY FLOOR MANAGER & FINANCIAL MANAGER, I was shadily forced to buy 4 APEX PROTECTION PACKAGES valued at $9857 just slapped onto my loan. There had been no prior paperwork or itemized breakdown of these packages anywhere on my service contract. No complete breakdown of the “BUYER ORDER” was presented to me nor did I have a paper copy or receipt. No e-mails have come in from Apex or Toyota reflecting any of these charges that I “bought” willingly. Not even an activation for the “mandatory APEX GPS” Had I gotten these emails, I would have taken action within 10 days of the cancellation of this OPTIONAL ADD ONS. The Financial manager Michael Charles failed to provide any documentation of the APEX packages and gave me no option to deny any of these unwanted add-ons. Upon catching the mistakes, I had to go into the dealership twice to get the necessary documentation, only to find out the service contracts had my named printed and forged under my “signature” but not my actual signature/ Basically was upcharged nearly $10k on top on “MANDATORY” optional packages. They took advantage of me and tried to rush me to sign all these paperwork without properly disclosing these add ons anywhere on any documentation copies I have. Therefore I had to make 2 visits to get copies of these charges. Not to mention that the CFPB ordered Toyota Financial to pay $60 million in consumer redress and penalties for operating an illegal scheme to prevent borrowerss from cancelling product bundles that increased their monthly car loan payments. (Please look this up) I know this is not their first time resorting to these shady practices as there have been multiple complaints via the BBB and Reviews both on Google & Yelp (please look it up yourself) about Keating Toyota and their shady practices. I am explaining in great detail so that I can remember all my thoughts from these situations unfolding. I hope this will be helpful for any buyer potentially looking and not falling victim to this scam. I am currently waiting on the GM Anson Jones to provide video evidence to proceed further action and resolution. 3/29/24 - the day I bought the car - Andrew (sales rep) and Shawn (manager) agreed to $48,500 WITH TAX upon initial agreement of the purchase of my 2024 Crown Limited - There website had my car listed for $48,257 with a dealer discount of roughly $4k which was advertised on their website as $44,257. - During the office visit Shawn said price with my $25k down was $717/month in financing, he only focused on the monthly payment and didn’t go over the total cost of the car WITH THE “REQUIRED APEX PROTECTION” - Shawn had his monitor zoomed in on the screen and was moving around numbers on the “purchase info screen” - On the PIS breakdown sheet, the subtotal of the car is $28,000 the “total fees/options $4844 and the finance charge was $4753.90 - QUESTION - why my subtotal is $28,000 - where did the extra $4500 get added onto? $48,500 - $25k down = $23,500 - No “required” apex protection with windshield, paint, APEX GPS was discussed or mentioned to me, this would be ~$10k in add ons from Shawn baked into the total financing cost which ultimately lead to my monthly payment of $717 - DEFFERED PRICE $63,527.80? Moving onto financial department - Mike Charles NEVER presented the breakdown of the cost and packages of add ons, only presented these OPTIONAL packages as stated on the sheet NEVER SHOWED THE BUYERS ORDER PAGE - I recall I never signed any signatures for APEX protection package 4 different packages that equate to $9857 because none of those documentation was ever presented to me - No where in any documentations I ha that disclosed those packages included More

I live in FL and while searching online for a used FJ, I saw that Keating Toyota had a 2010 4WD with a manual transmission and a Clean Carfax. Since the FJ was discontinued in 2014, I'm talking about a vehi saw that Keating Toyota had a 2010 4WD with a manual transmission and a Clean Carfax. Since the FJ was discontinued in 2014, I'm talking about a vehicle that's 10+ years old. I was looking for a fun family vehicle that we could use to take the grandkids to the beach, fishing, etc. Note: The FJ doesn’t have carpet so that’s a plus! I also currently own a 2023 Tundra Platinum and have owned many, many Toyotas over the last three decades. Having said that, this was my first purchase of a Toyota vehicle sight unseen (online). I started texting with Lee about the 2010 FJ. Lee sent me a video of the FJ. The FJ was quite dirty in the video, unlike the pics on Autotrader, and had writing on the windshield and driver’s side glass. Lee said the FJ needed to be detailed. In his video, Lee pointed out a scratch on the passenger side front fender and said they could take care of it. Lee said, "no real major scratches that I can see I mean outside of this..." I didn’t have a problem with the scratch, the vehicle is 14 years old! I wasn’t looking for perfection but I told Lee not to have the scratch repaired–I didn’t want any paint work. Lee also told me “No we don’t do that” when I asked about any paint work on the FJ. Based on the information I received from the dealership, I decided to proceed with the purchase. I completed the paperwork via email and signed more docs that were sent to me overnight. Yes, the docs included the words “AS IS” and I also signed a “Nothing Additional Promised–We Owe” doc and my wife and I joked that they do owe us the vehicle. Being that this was a Toyota dealer and they knew I was relying on the information they were providing to me in order to make my purchasing decision, I trusted them and signed the documents. The vehicle was then to be transported to me from TX to FL. When the vehicle arrived on Easter, I immediately noticed a damaged windshield and some serious paint work on the passenger side. I'm not referring to the scratch that Lee pointed out in his video or any other scratches; I'm referring to paint work on the passenger door. There was also primer overspray inside the passenger door. Was this vehicle in an accident? I texted Daniel Montoya within minutes of delivery and he said he would get back to me on Monday, he didn't. I ended up speaking with Terry Sinclair when Daniel didn't respond. Terry told me he appraised the FJ and it was “almost perfect.” When I asked him if he noticed the paint work and the damaged windshield during his appraisal, he would not comment. It doesn't matter if the damage and paint work occurred prior to them taking the vehicle on trade or if they did the paint work; either way, it should have been disclosed. The age of a vehicle doesn't matter, damage and paint work should always be disclosed to the buyer. I contacted Toyota Motor Corp to see if they could provide some guidance, they assigned a case number and said they would contact Keating Toyota. To sum it up, Keating isn’t doing anything for me. This dealership believes their contract is iron clad and that’s what they’re sticking to. I wanted to return the FJ to them or at a minimum be compensated for the loss in value due to the undisclosed paint work.. In addition, the damaged windshield has to be replaced and my insurance won’t cover it since it was pre-existing damage. In my opinion, Keating Toyota suppressed material facts about the actual condition of the vehicle. As a result, I have now experienced a financial loss. Being an out of state buyer, the dealership knew I was relying solely on their word. Trusting them has proven to be a huge mistake! Keating Toyota turned my “fun family vehicle purchase” into the worst vehicle buying experience I have ever experienced! I would have definitely made a different decision about this particular FJ had I been told about paint work and damaged windshield. I was clear from the beginning - no paint work! More
Yesterday I did a search and “TrueCar” located one (1) 2024 Toyota Sequoia TRD PRO at Keating Toyota in Manvel down 288 near Hwy 6. TrueCar represented that the vehicle is at Keating Toyota for $82,193.00 - $1,088.00 “Dealer Discount” … basically $81k ($86,331 including taxes and fees.) See attached. Keating Toyota then called and sent me a text as I guess they were monitoring the hit / my internet search. Sales rep Brenda Trejo called and confirmed the vehicle is for sale for $81k. I indicated that I was interested in a test drive and made a 2:00 appointment. She stated “I will get the keys and get the vehicle ready for a test drive.” Upon arrival Brenda showed me the vehicle (still in the show room.) I reiterated that I would like to test drive the vehicle. Brenda asked for my drivers license and came back with some sort of middle manager “Emmanuel” ?? No test drive and red flags went up immediately. Emmanual stated and showed me paperwork that the vehicle is worth “$126k.” this is a $45k markup above MSRP ! (He did not let go of the paper.) I was shocked and asked to see his manager. Manager on duty stated MSRP is just a suggestion, and that the vehicle is available to purchase for $126k. I left very upset and concerned that Keating Toyota may be scamming many consumers in our area with the same or similar scheme. Keating Toyota’s practice of attempting to sell vehicles 50%+ over MSRP may be illegal and is in all likelihood without the knowledge or blessing of Toyota. Let me know if you would like to visit further. More
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the purchase of a Mercedes Benz GLC in September 2023 from Keating Toyota. This vehicle has proven to be defective, causing significant financial burden purchase of a Mercedes Benz GLC in September 2023 from Keating Toyota. This vehicle has proven to be defective, causing significant financial burden and emotional distress. Less than 30 days after purchase, the car required a new turbo, a repair that should not have been necessary for a vehicle of this caliber and age. This was certainly an unexpected and costly repair. Despite this, the vehicle has continued to exhibit significant defects, necessitating further repairs costing thousands of dollars less than six months of ownership. Furthermore, since the date of purchase, I have been subjected to persistent sexual harassment by the salesman who sold me the defected vehicle. He has repeatedly contacted me outside of business hours, making inappropriate advances and attempting to leverage the repair of my vehicle as a means to engage in conversation. Despite my clear and explicit requests to cease communication, he has disregarded my wishes, prompting my father to intervene on my behalf. It has also come to my attention, through web sources, that there are previous complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau regarding similar instances of sexual harassment towards female customers by salesmen employed @ Keating Toyota. This situation is intolerable and has caused immense distress. I am requesting immediate action to rectify these issues, including full reimbursement for all repair expenses incurred due to the vehicle's defect and a replacement vehicle. As well as, appropriate disciplinary measures against the salesman involved. I am prepared to pursue legal action to ensure that justice is served and to prevent such misconduct from occurring in the future. More
