Mr. Prabarakan (P.K.), You originally inquired about a vehicle on December 30, 2016, and were informed that the pricing would be good only through January 2, 2017. The incentives, rebates, and programs are set forth by the manufacturer (Hyundai), and they all come with an expiration date. The information we provided to you, as well as from Truecar, all informed you of this. You did not make a buying decision until after that date, and the incentives, rebates, and programs were changed by Hyundai USA. Based upon the sale date of your vehicle, which was on January 10, 2017, you missed the better programs that were in place at the time of your initial inquiry. We attempted to convince you repeatedly to come in by January 2nd, therefore, cannot take responsibility for the change in pricing because of program changes. At no time did we employ high pressure tactics to convince you to buy, as that is not our model here. The one thing that was impressed to you... repeatedly... was the expiration date of the specials. As far as following up, we have documented communication in our CRM of attempts to communicate with you on 12/30, 12/31, 1/2, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/11, 1/12, 1/16, and 1/23. We don't believe we have failed in our endeavor to provide you with excellent customer service and communication. It is unfortunate that this review has also adversely impacted our sales team, especially Jon Falls, due to a lack of understanding on your behalf, and may negatively influence the general public's future perspective of our dealership.
