The only issue I have is how long it takes for the sale to be complete. The forms and all the rigamarole need to be streamlined as to not make it a such a drag. Getting a new car is fun. Third Time Around Just purchased a 2017 Elantra Ltd. Shelene, my sales rep was incredible. They had the car I wanted even though the color was hard to find. They had the ex My wife and I purchased a pre-owned 2012 Hyundai Veracurz August 2016 at Keffer Hyundai in Matthews NC (100 miles from where we live). They had the exact vehicle we were seeking after extensive research. Helio, Sales Mgr, was extremely patient with my lengthy questions about service information and our detailed evaluation during the test drive(s) while providing straightforward communications. He coordinated conversation with Service Dept (thank you Chris for your time and expertise) about upcoming scheduled maintenance we wanted to do as part of the sale. Bobby and Kathy in Service were great handling the work order and completion of work. Our credit was not stellar, but the Finance Dept was able to secure a loan to meet our budget based on a fair selling price. Probably our best car buying experience (been buying cars for 40 years), most especially given our fragile financial position. Thanks to all. More

disappointing service after the sale - will never buy again My earlier review was too soon. I've been unable to secure the return of my $500 deposit. The auto invoice was incorrect when I took delivery. Ke My earlier review was too soon. I've been unable to secure the return of my $500 deposit. The auto invoice was incorrect when I took delivery. Keffer updated it to the net deal price. Neither the finance person nor I realized it didn't account for the deposit to stay on my credit card as originally planned. I was told the cash purchase deal would take 30 minutes. By the time I paid and realized I overpaid $500, I had been there 90 minutes and had to leave for a work meeting. I was told by a manager and the finance person they would take care of the return. 3 weeks later, no refund was made and my sales person says the only way to get it is to drive there in person. It is an inconvenience based on where I work. So I called and asked if they can just mail me the check. The salesperson calls me back and explains his manager wants me to drive there because that would be "less convenient for them" to cut a check since credit card and checking funds come from two accounts. I call back and leave a message but no response before they closed. Be prepared for big promises about quality and service before the sale. It is on you to make things more convenient for Keffer AFTER the sale. More
