I asked what their best deal was and with all the fees that Keffer Kia added this other dealership was almost $5,000 cheaper then Keffer. Keffer Kia called me a few hours later but it was a completely different person than the night before. I explained the deal the other dealership gave me and he could only offer me the same car but for $2,000 more than the other dealership. I declined, then the original manager who I spoke with called to tell me I was being “scammed”, the other dealership was “taking advantage of me”, they were just trying to get me in the door and they were going to jack up the price. He offered me a used 2025 Kia Sportage for the price I was getting a New 2026 SX Prestige. When I said no he said “well you talked to use first” Just felt very pushy and negative when other dealerships where I test drove other cars at congratulated me for buying a new car, even places that don’t sell kia’s where nice when I told them what I had purchased. My son purchased a Kia Sorrento from Carvana 07/24. The engine failed on 05/30/25. We were told that there was a Service Bulletin for a "KSDS" repair that had not been done and because of that, Kia wo The engine failed on 05/30/25. We were told that there was a Service Bulletin for a "KSDS" repair that had not been done and because of that, Kia would not replace the engine. There would have been no way for us to know that the Service Bulletin existed or that it had not been done. We obtained the service records for the vehicle and realized that it had been in the Service Dept. at Keffer Kia on TWO occasions (10/23/2018 and 11/12/2018) The service bulletin was issued in July, 2018. We did not own the vehicle until 2024. When the vehicle was at Keffer Kia to be serviced, they Failed to do the repairs. There was no way for my son to be aware of the Service Bulletin or that Keffer Kia failed to make the proper repairs when it was in their service dept. We had to contact Kia Corporate office to get a response. They informed us that Keffer Kia should be responsible for the repairs, but because Keffer Kia is an independently owned dealership, they do not have the power to make them do the right thing. Hayden, at Keffer Kia told us that the Service Bulletin must have been over looked "or something like that." It has been 6 months. My son continues to make payments on a vehicle with no engine because Keffer Kia will not act responsibly. More

Took 2017 Kia soul to have check engine light diagnosed because I had a code for O2 sensor. I had just gotten one replaced at another service center and it wasn’t working. I went with to the dealership wit because I had a code for O2 sensor. I had just gotten one replaced at another service center and it wasn’t working. I went with to the dealership with one code. When I pick my car up, it was driving differently from how I bought it .the dealership.I took imy 2017 Kia to a parts store to see why my car was misfiring and wasn’t working properly. I was told that I had six codes and my car was running like a truck. I called the lady at the service department was told she would have the manager call me on Monday. I haven’t heard anything back from them yet.I was given a price for over $8000 of things that needed to be done to my car. Now my car is driving like a truck and I just drove it to Raleigh on last week with none of the problems. My check engine light was just staying on now is flicking. I was told they used the code machine to see what was going on and they just drove it. I had serval other things done at another repair shop and was told that the parts from Automotive shops wouldn’t work on Kia. Now mind you I only wanted to see what was going on with 02 sensor and my car is driving worse than when I drove it there. I have never been more disappointed and I brought my car new in 2017.. I just wanted to see what was going on. I believe they did something to make it have 5 additional codes I have proof showing that I only had one code which I bought it to the dealership in Mooresville. More

I recently bought a brand-new Kia Sorento from Keffer Kia, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Just one month after driving off the lot, the engine completely failed. I had just give Kia, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Just one month after driving off the lot, the engine completely failed. I had just given birth and was relying on my car to get around, so this situation has been nothing but a massive headache. When I reached out to Keffer Kia, I was told there were 61 motors on back order, and it would take an "indefinite" amount of time to fix my vehicle. To make matters worse, they refused to offer me a loaner car, claiming that it would take too long to repair and that they didn’t want to put too many miles on a loaner. So now, I'm left without a car and forced to rent one out of my own pocket. Kia corporate offices has offered to reimburse me up to $47 a day once my car is repaired, but let’s be real – that’s a drop in the bucket compared to what renting a car actually costs especially when paying upfront. Keffer Kia has been nothing but unhelpful, unaccommodating, and downright inconsiderate. They’ve made a stressful situation even worse and have shown zero empathy. The lack of customer support and care is beyond frustrating. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, and I will be looking elsewhere for any future vehicle needs. More

After a nationwide search, I found a vehicle at a dealership in St. Louis. However, it was not really what I needed. I was desperate and about to settle for it anyway. Then I happened to telephone Kia and spoke with a Mr. Gerald Bennett. Although Mr. Bennett did not have a vehicle that would accommodate my needs at that time, he went WAY beyond the call of duty. He gave me wonderful advice that saved over $13,000. I am astonished that without Mr. Bennett receiving any pay, he helped direct me to a more appropriate purchase. I hope that Mr. Bennett will be available when I make my next purchase! More
