Before we even began to look for cars Chad made sure my sister and I were comfortable. We each were given a bottle of water and as we searched their inventory of cars, Chad made us laugh with his silly jokes and antics. Although I had only spoken to him on the phone for less than 5 minutes and had only known him at that point for less than 10, his smooth conversational manner really put me at ease and I felt comfortable speaking with him. As we explored the Lot and then later test drove a vehicle, I was convinced that Keffer Mazda was the dealership that I would buy my car from. It is important to note that Keffer Mazda is not the closest Mazda dealership to me; in fact, it is a whole hour away from where I live, but after speaking with Chad on the phone I felt compelled to see what Keffer Mazda was all about. And I am glad I did! Even when I went to the finance department I was amazed at how nice everyone was. My sister and I even joked with the finance guy Randy Lodato (and usually I think finance guys are mean and rude because they only care about the numbers, but in this case I was completely wrong)! Basically, my mind was blown from the entire experience. The employees at Keffer Mazda appear to be a tight knit family and I even commented while there that it seemed like a great place to work. I am so happy with my brand new Mazda 6! More

I heard that Keffer is the best rated Mazda dealer in NC and I bought a 2016 CX-3 from Keffer Mazda, and worked with Elite, Kenneth and JJ (finance). I heard that Keffer is the best rated Mazda dealer in NC and SC, and now I know it's true, and I know why. Mazda says "Driving Matters" but these guys take it to entirely different level. A positive attitude, quality customer service, being fun and easy to work with, attention to detail, going the extra mile, and DRIVING... all of these things seem matter to the guys that I worked with at Keffer. They seem to genuinely want to give you a good deal on your new car and make you a customer for life. I live about 2 hours away from Huntersville, but you can be sure I will be going back as often as I can to get oil changes and visit my new Mazda family. More
Best Car-Buying Experience to Date My wife and I visited Keffer Mazda on a Saturday afternoon back in January without an appointment after test driving several models at another competi My wife and I visited Keffer Mazda on a Saturday afternoon back in January without an appointment after test driving several models at another competing auto maker dealership in Charlotte earlier in the day. Before, we had done our own research, narrowing our interest to the compact SUV and mid-size sedan categories in finding the right new vehicle for my wife. Our salesperson, Yuri Carvalho was a pleasure to deal with. His easy going demeanor, impressive detailed knowledge of the Mazda product line, and patience in answering our many questions during several test drives made the experience a pleasureable one. He did not disparage the competition; rather, he let the Mazda vehicles' superior handling characteristics and features speak for themselves during the test drives, offering thorough explanations of model features and patiently answering our many questions. In fact, the only frustrating part of the whole experience was deciding between the Mazda6 and the CX-5, as my wife loved the handling and features of both vehicles. Yuri's extensive vehicle knowledge and his passion for the Mazda brand shown forth during the afternoon we spent at Keffer. My wife finally decided on the CX-5, and we felt confident that we got a great vehicle at a competitive price. We enthusiastically recommend Yuri Carvalho as a first point of contact if one is considering Mazda for their next vehicle purchase. We have owned the CX-5 for just over 5-months now and have driven it extensively in a variety of city commute and interstate distance driving conditions. The CX-5 has performed exceptionally well for us, and it is certainly a pleasure to drive. We have no regrets in purchasing it. I recently took the vehicle in for first service at Keffer's impressive, new facility, after having made a same day appointment a few hours earlier. Jay and the crew had the vehicle serviced in well under an hour, despite my being late for the appointment. It appeared in every respect to be a highly efficient service operation, and the staff were cordial. Our salesman, Yuri, even stopped over by the lounge to check that we were satisfied with the CX-5. Excrutiating Experience, Good Ending Let me start by saying that this is the sixth car we've purchased with Keffer Automotive Group. They have always done right by us. We started out looking at a truck at Keffer Mazda. We had the pleasure of working with an awesome salesman, Chad Cowans who was very courteous, knowledgeable, and all around great to work with. We liked the truck, but were waiting to see another truck later at a different Keffer dealership. We had other errands to run before we were going to make it back to the other Keffer dealership to see the other truck. To save us time and hassle, Chad offered to go pick this truck up in Matthews and bring it back to Huntersville to make it more convenient for us to take a test drive. I thought that was awesome! I would have never thought of that. Once we made it back, we took the test drive and LOVED the truck. This was definitely the one! The other dealership was calling and hounding Chad that they had a buyer and that they were coming to pick up the truck. They were told that we were purchasing the truck. Sorry, first come, first serve....right? Dealership politics meant we couldn't buy the truck then and there because technically it was owned by Keffer Hyundai in Matthews. Chad and Elite Trice (Sales Manager) worked out a verbal agreement with Keffer Hyundai to return the truck (they sent a driver to retrieve it) and make a dealer trade the next day so we could purchase the truck. We were assured that since we left a deposit on the truck that it was ours. No problem, right??? WRONG! Chad had the unfortunate task of calling us the next morning to let us know that Keffer Hyundai had sold the truck out from under us. WHAT??? Have they NO INTEGRITY whatsoever? We immediately returned to Keffer Mazda where Chad and Elite were BEYOND apologetic for the dirty work of their sister store. This is by far the worst thing that has ever happened to us while buying a car. As bad as it was, Chad and Elite went above and beyond to make it right. They worked us the best possible deal on a different truck. It's still a great truck, not our original choice, but still great AND we got a great deal in the end. I am huge on customer service, and this experience showed me the good and the bad. The bad on the part of Keffer Hyundai. What they did was not only dirty but just plain BAD business! They are the kind of people that give car salesmen a bad name. Needless to say, I will never do business of any kind with Keffer Hyundai in Matthews. Now the good...Chad stuck with us through the whole process (two LONG days in the dealership), even losing opportunities with other customers to see us through until the end. Elite was able to work us the best deal possible, which in the end we were happy with (not elated, but happy). Both guys went above and beyond when it came to customer service, always with a smile and a nice hand shake. I would recommend Keffer Mazda to any of my friends and family. Working with Chad and Elite was truly a pleasure. Last but not least, Randy in finance was awesome too! More

There was much haggling, since the car was priced at dealer retail, yet hadn't moved for many weeks. A manager got involved, and he could win an Oscar for his performance of outrage at our 1st offer. He made statements in support of his price that were transparently illogical to this well-informed customer. However, in the end, both dealer and customer happy. The title/finance guy was extremely efficient with the paperwork. Through the entire paper-pushing process, he gave us an amazing pitch to award the dealership a "5-star rating". A well-rehearsed performance to behold. He promised a full gas tank and a well-detailed car which weren't delivered, . The car had about 1/4 tank at delivery, but we were too weary of the "push-pull" of this exhausting process to nitpick about that. The car was indeed, very clean, but not detailed. The rear passenger storage compartments were full of loose dirt. Both conditions we could live with, had they not been promised. But for those three let-downs beginning with the manager, 5-stars would be awarded. Alas, 4 is the best we can justify. Don't hesitate to work with Rodney; He's a nice guy and a very hard worker. Just do your homework and be prepared to defend your offer to "the manager". More
