Scott Lassiter worked with me a couple of weeks ago when I was beginning to look at new cars. He took me on the initial test drive, explained the vehicle and actually talked hard numbers. He respected the fact that I was just starting the buying process and did not pressure me. That impressed me. After test driving a number of competing vehicles, I decided on the GC. When I went back to Kelly to make a deal, Scott was not working that day so Janet Gadsby handled the transaction from that point on. Janet is a real professional who knows how to take care of her customers. She answered all my remaining questions about the GC, showed great attention to detail and an understanding of my needs. Kelly did not have a GC Limited on the lot with the color combination / options I was looking for, so Janet helped me search through the vehicles that were in-transit from the factory to Kelly. After I picked one that was close to, but not exactly, what I wanted, Janet - on her own initiative and without any suggestion from me - located the EXACT color combination / options that I was looking for using Jeep's database. Although my GC was on its way to another dealership 100 miles away, Kelly did not hesitate to do what it took to get me exactly what I was looking for. Even though it must've cost Kelly something to get my GC (at least to have a driver make the 200-mile round trip), they still set a great price for the new GC and gave me a very fair price for my trade in. Janet communicated frequently and clearly while we were waiting for my car to arrive at the other dealership, and handled the delivery thoroughly. Everything about the process of getting my new GC was top notch - fair, honest, smooth, low pressure and hassle-free. By the way, I had the same fantastic experience with Kelly Jeep when I purchased a new Jeep Liberty from them back in 2004. Kelly really does make it easy. I have no hesitation highly recommending Janet Gadsby, Scott Lassiter and Kelly Jeep. More

I'd been to another dealership prior to Kelly which was much closer to home & work. They were not willing to work with me and were pushing hard to sell me a vehicle I really didn't want. See ya'. My Internet search lead me to Kelly, which was much farther for me to travel from the south shore. I spoke to Justin Sullivan on the phone who was very helpful and easy to deal with. I explained I was very interested in a particular Wrangler Unlimited they had, but wanted to keep the price minimal, of course. I explained, also, that it was a distance for me to travel, so we would need to settle on a price over the phone before visiting, I wasn't going to make the trip out there and come out empty handed. Justin worked with me, we settled on a price. At the dealership Steven Sullivan was very friendly, accommodating, and very easy going. No pressure, just an easy conversation about the next steps in the process. He always made sure my questions were answered if if he did not have an immediate answer, throughout the whole process. I was able to get a decent trade on my old Dodge truck, without batting an eyelash, they met my trade expectations (unlike the previous dealership). Robert Page worked diligently to beat the financing rate I'd already secured prior to arriving at Kelly. The deal was finalized and I'm very happy with the end result. More

Shopping for a new car is fun and exciting when it comes to imagining yourself behind the wheel of your new ride but we all know the car buying experience can be less than fun when it comes to the negotiation of price and trade value. I shopped around for a while and was disappointed everywhere I went......that is until I arrived at Kelly Jeep and met Salesman James Moore. I had been hunting online and browsing lots for a new Jeep Wrangler. Different dealers told me different versions of the specifications and options on their jeeps. Many gave me bottom line prices that turned out to not be the bottom line, or low balled on my trade. My experience with Kelly Jeep in Lynnfield began with Janelle Kingston, Janelle is the internet sales cutie....she emailed me options, I told her what I wanted in a jeep, what was a "must have" and what would be "nice to have" options, and the realistic price range I was looking to spend. Moments later I received a list of 3 jeep options that were all exactly what I asked for. I told her I would be in and she told me she would introduce me to a salesman. Next I met with James Moore, one of the sales guys. He politely introduced himself and told me he knew I was coming and had an idea what i was looking for. We walked through the lot and found the cars I was interested in quickly and decided to take one for a spin. James was a straight shooter and just a nice guy, knowledgeable about Jeeps and very personable. His sense of humor made the experience better too. Meanwhile, back at the dealership they were looking at my trade. At one point James asked what I owed on my trade so I just said "what I owe shouldn't matter in the evaluation of my car's trade value." (not my first rodeo) James just said in response "no, it doesn't, not a problem.". During every interaction at Kelly Jeep there were never any high pressure sales tactics, which I had experienced at other dealerships. Shortly after the test drive I was introduced to the Sales Manager, Andrew.......not as a negotiating ploy (we hadn't even started negotiating yet) Andrew just happened to be from my home town and wanted to say "hello". There was no phoniness or sales tactic here and it was obvious. Now it was the moment of truth. They had an offer on my trade and I was still considering what to offer on the new Jeep, which I absolutely lover but tried not to show. The values and prices of my trade and the new jeep were being considered independently which is how I prefer to deal discuss them. They offered a fair price on my trade and I countered. I was only asking for slightly more than what I owed. They discussed it and agreed. Now on to discuss the Jeep price. I had compared the "bottom line" prices of comparable vehicles at Kelly Jeep to the "bottom line" prices at other dealerships and Kelly Jeep was more reasonable, and better on my trade in value. Knowing the bottom line dollars I agreed and we had a deal. It was as low stress as it gets. Now on to the financing. I test drove on a Sunday night when the banks were closed so I would have to go back the next day. I was pre-approved by my own bank and let them know it. Still Rob, the business/finance guy, shopped around and found me an even lower rate at a local bank. He was pleasant, fast and efficient getting the paperwork done, the loan details, the registration transfer....and with a great sense of humor when I initialed in the wrong place requiring him to re-print a few forms. At the end of the paperwork Rob just said "so, you wanna take it home tonight?" ummmmmm, yes! James set up the bluetooth for my iPhone, switched plates and helped me remove the personal items from my old vehicle since I wasn't expecting to be taking the new Jeep home yet. Then James made an appointment for me to return later to pick up the new registration, have side steps installed (which was part of the purchase) and get the inspection completed. This was the most pleasant, fair and efficient car buying experience I have ever had I love my new Jeep. This is the 6th car purchase I have negotiated and by far the most stress free. I hope you have the same car buying experience I had and if you go to Kelly Jeep in Lynnfield odds are you will. More
