mixed My wife and I are Costco members. Ganley is an authorized vendor. We setup an appointment for June 5 and meet with Max Pipkin. We found that Max was k My wife and I are Costco members. Ganley is an authorized vendor. We setup an appointment for June 5 and meet with Max Pipkin. We found that Max was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. My wife found a Outback with a package of options that she liked, but in the wrong color. Max assured us that Ganley could secure that same car from a different dealer in White or Black my wife's preferred colors. Given that assurance we put down a $500 deposit, Max called us 6/10 to tell us that we could come and pickup our black car. On June 11 we met with Max at which time he gave my wife a copy of the Costco pricing. Since we already had the Costco pricing from previous I did not look at it. We then went to finance and completed the paper work to purchase the car. Next Max went over the general operations of the car. We then drove home. At home I went over the car and started noticing the some the things we expected weren't there. I investigated further by looking at the window sticker. This was not what we were expecting. We were not told that the options were not the same. That put a damper on the experience. We were charged the correct Costco price. We have had the car about a week and we like it. More
Good and bad Requested 30k mile service. Was aware of the sunroof recall fix. The person who scheduled my appt. (unknown male person), told me about another reca Requested 30k mile service. Was aware of the sunroof recall fix. The person who scheduled my appt. (unknown male person), told me about another recall. This one for the catalytic converter which will take 2 hours. I indicated that I could not drop off and would have to wait. When I arrived Mike Murphy explained that that recall required leaving the car for ALL day. I did not have a ride in order to do that. I will have to return and drive 40 minutes each way again. Could all have been performed in one trip and exposure to the virus. Not pleased with the person scheduling over the phone. Very pleased with Mike Murphy. More
