Had to write this review again the first time I posted it it said I gave them 5 stars. To be clear they wouldn't get any if that was an option. Ohhhh sooooo much to say about Ken Ganley Toyota. I'll start ou it said I gave them 5 stars. To be clear they wouldn't get any if that was an option. Ohhhh sooooo much to say about Ken Ganley Toyota. I'll start out by saying that we purchased a beautiful used 2021 Toyota Tundra at a great price. However the only reason we got it at a great price is because we had to wade through the most viscous pile of the epitome of sleazy slimy shady car sales to get to it. First of all, they only offered us $5000 on our 2010 Chevy Avalanche. Last month we went to two different dealerships and both offered us $9,500 for our trade on far less expensive vehicles. I've seen wrecked Avalanches sell for more than that. Needless to say we were standing up to leave. They talked us to $7500. That was what they were selling their truck undervalued at so I settled. Then we met the finance manager. I'm surprised there wasn't a path of slime leading to his office. I told them my bank is offering 3.45% for 7yrs. Making it a $586 payment. His condescending discussions with me lead to a second attempt of us leaving. We refused to sign an agreement of a $700 - $730 payment. My husband really liked and deserved that truck so I called our bank. They instantly approved us for the rate advertised. I was in the process of closing it when Rodrigo (our salesman) came back from finance with another offer of $600 - $630 a month. Stating "it's only $20 more" Doubting Rodrigo, the shady dealership or the finagling finance manager would offer to pay the extra monthly money that they were claiming shouldn't be an issue with us, I continued with my call. After the finance manager found out I was talking directly to our bank a "surprise" offer of an even lower than my banks "impossible" rate (as stated by finance manager) was laid before us. The salesman tried to justify it as they offer a higher payment so it looks good when the actual payment comes out under it. $114-$144 MORE THAN THE ACTUAL PAYMENT!!! That's some totally dishonest dealings there!! If a naive customer came in they'd pay that price and not even know the difference. I know my financial standings and I know what I can afford. I don't give them any pricing of where I want to be. I expect them to be honest with the whole process. I didn't ask for a discount on their vehicle, I asked for an honest trade at the lowest rate available to me. I had to fight to get that service there. The only thing we asked for is a car starter. We were initially going to put it in our loan until we received the first offer. We then negotiated that they were supposed to include a car starter free in the deal since they lowballed us so much on our trade. I was so worn after this whole thing I didn't even notice it till the next day they added it to our loan. As if this whole process wasn't draining enough. The salesman directs us to our new truck (that both our names are on) opens the door for me then walks to the front of the truck and calls for my husband. He then takes a picture of them both in front of the truck and congratulates him on his purchase. IT'S A DUAL PURCHASE!!! He didn't even ask me to be included in the picture. AMAZING!!! Especially when I had to talk my husband into buying it and tell him to sit down after our second stand up. To be fair our salesman Rodrigo has only been selling cars for 7 months so I can't hold him 100% for his poor decisions. He's probably reflecting what he's apparently seen. That being said he also needs to be aware to keep it honest then you won't get tied up and be included with bad reviews. I waited until the starter was put in before I wrote this review. Since our purchase we found out the finance manager was transferred to Ohio and made the GM of another dealership. We also found out they gave us misinformation on the the warranty he sold us. I'm praying the new finance manager is better than the last and I feel great pity for the customers of the dealership in Ohio be prepared to get ripped off. More
Everything was ready to go when I arrived to pick up my new truck. We had one small issue, which was pointed out to me when I first arrived. The part was already ordered to correct the issue.
