We walked into this dealership suffering from some MAJOR buyers remorse after a knee jerk decision that got the best of us. Nevertheless, I was determined to at least test drive the car I'd been drooling ov buyers remorse after a knee jerk decision that got the best of us. Nevertheless, I was determined to at least test drive the car I'd been drooling over for 2+ years. We initially came in looking for another salesman who had directly contacted us after I had requested a test drive for another Lexus from one of their sister dealerships. Eddie noticed is wandering (it was really busy), and grabbed the keys for us so I could test drive and drool over this car that had been unattainable. Needless to say, I fell in love & my boyfriend must have seen the stars in my eyes because he decided before we had even gotten back to the lot that we needed to try to figure out how to make our wrong decision right. Even though this Lexus was 4 years older, it had pretty much ALL the bells and whistles I had been looking for, and was overall nicer and cheaper than the car we had gotten. We got back, and laid out the whole situation for Eddie, practically begging for any advice he could possibly offer us to make this dream a reality. In real quick order, Eddie had lined up our options and negotiated with the financial department for TWO hours, to even see if this could be made possible. He advised us the steps on how to return the other car and to make sure there wouldn't be fallout. We came back and after a bit more negotiating we were finally able to pin down a deal that would work for everyone. We were able to take the Lexus THAT NIGHT and with a few more steps on our part we were able to submit our request. They gave us some time to secure the down payment WHILE being able to have the car which we DESPERATELY needed as both my boyfriend & I work 2 jobs. We finalized everything the other day and even though I've been driving the Lexus for 2 weeks I STILL can't believe it's real.
