HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! DO NOT, DO NOT TAKE YOUR USED HYUNDAI HERE! 3 weeks ago we took our 2006 Sonata to this dealership for an intermittent starting issue. At the time my DO NOT, DO NOT TAKE YOUR USED HYUNDAI HERE! 3 weeks ago we took our 2006 Sonata to this dealership for an intermittent starting issue. At the time my husband told him he thought it was the starter. After they worked on it they told him that it was the ignition switch. My husband had them replace it to the tune of 400 plus dollars. On our way home we stopped for breakfast and the car failed to start again so my husband took it back. They took it in again and cleaned the contacts (this was for free) yet on the way home it did it again. Upset my husband called them again and asked them to find out what it was doing. They put us off for a bit telling us that it would take some time to get us a loaner car while they fixed it. 2 weeks later they gave us a loaner car and kept my husband's car for 3 weeks. My husband called them and said he was concerned about the work they were doing and how much it would cost but the man he spoke to told him that at the time there was no charge. Finally after driving the car and trying numerous things they finally told my husband IT WAS THE STARTER and the fee would be around 500.00 to fix it. My husband said I have already paid for an ignition switch I didn't need, can we reach a compromise here? The man told him that it would be a wash. My husband made it clear that what he meant by that was that there would be no charge given that we already paid for the ignition switch that was not faulty? The man reassured him that it would be a wash. Today when my husband picked up his car he was presented with a bill for 513.60. When my husband complained the Service Manager was brought in and my husband told him what he was told and the service manager said that they couldn't do that and made no attempt to try to make this issue right. My husband paid the bill and told the service manager that he was displeased and would not be bringing our car back here and the Service Manager's response was Sir you are more than able to take your car anywhere you would like. Evidently they don't care to foster goodwill or try to keep a customer here. We will NOT be bringing our car back to here. We are seriously displeased and will be taking our Sonata to Murdock, which I have heard wonderful things about. More
Horrible Service Department They never returned a call to me even when they said they would call me. This happened 3 times and each time I had to either go to the dealership in person or insist on talking to my service advisor. They have had my car for five days and I called them today and they said they had the part and so I would be done today. My service advisor never called again and so I again asked not to be sent to voice mail so I could talk to him. They haven't even started on it because it would be done by the end of the day tomorrow. I doesn't take two days to replace a part. Where is Riverton Hyundai when you want them? Ken Garff Hyundai isn't even in the same league. More

So I come down and the car smells terrible everything was bone dry no fluids in it, they didnt even bother to vac. Yucky, I needed a car desperatley so aagainst my better judgement I bought it . So to weeks later the car dies, leaving me and my three children stranded late at night in a shady part of town!!! crazy so now I out $2500.00 dollars and to fix the car its going to cost $2200.00! theres laws against that (lemon laws) I talked to sam and he was goingto help me out make things right, well until i called him back after memorial day weekend meanwhile I am still stuck with no car. I call back and he has me speak to some man didnt get a name who was so rude to me. just plan rude! and now sam is not stepping up admitting what he said to me. just a week earlier. I would like to make it right between us , without lawyers but its begining to look like thats not an option. It took me over 2 years to save that money and it was not easy at all. how can we make things right? More

I had bought a used car from a different dealership that made me feel I was useless and not worth their precious time. I did leave with an used car that I hated but they told me that's all I could afford. I walked into Riverton Hyundai and somebody greeted me with warm and care. I didn't even know he was a salesman. He looked so down to earth and friendly. Brooks Sherman is his name and he looked for a car for me, trading my used one. He went the extra mile and made me feel like I was worth so much. I left the lot with a brand new Mitsubishi. First time in my life I've ever had a brand new car. Brooks is very gentle, nice, warm, friendly and very competent. He makes you feel like you are the only one important there and he will search for what you will be happy with. He showed me so many cars. His patience was incredible. I left the lot feeling that I finally was somebody worth a new car. Thank you Brooks. You change my way of thinking about salesman. Very gracious and nice. And you made me feel like a million dollars. My experience with the after sales was different though. I had the free oil change three month later and when I went to my appointment, it seemed like there was only one man working there even though there was plenty of other service guys in the room. Andre Graham was greeting all the customers, and taking care of them, while the other servicemen were just talking with each others. In the 45 mintutes I was there he attended to me and all the customers who entered, as well as answering the phone. There were about 4 other men there, but it was a one man's show: Andre Graham. He even had to answer the phone and asked questions to the service guy there who did not even bother to take the call to relieve him of all his work. I admired Andre's patience, kindness and hard work. A one man's show in a big service care center like you have is not right. And Andre deserves a lot of appreciation and respect. He stayed patient, nice and friendly. I was amazed and I told how I felt. He did not say anything negative about his coworkers. So, I big thank you to Brooks Sherman, a wonderful and competent sales person and my big thank you and respect to Andre Graham who is going the extra mile, seems like every single minute he is there. I do appreciate my service and I love my car. More

We initially went to a Hyundai dealer in SLC but did not feel comfortable with the service we received (I won't go into the details but lets just say that I wouldn't return to that dealer ever again). We then visited the Riverton dealer - such a great sales team! Everyone we met was friendly and courteous. The salesman we dealt with was Wes. He was very friendly and patient and answered all our questions (and we had many!). What we really appreciated was that we did not feel pressured to buy a car - Wes understood that we had to reflect on the information he gave us before we could make a decision. Every time I would phone Wes for more information, he was ready to help and the times he was not available, he would return my phone call within a couple of hours. (Even on his days off!) When we finally did make a decision on the model and colour, he went out of his way to source the car for us. Thank you for great service. We will definitely go back to Hyundai Riverton! More

great customer service experience We bought a Sonata from Riverton Hyundai. Our salesman was Wes, he was wonderful. He is friendly, thoughtful, and listened to all of our concerns. He worked up quotes for us on 2 different vehicles, one was too expensive. He asked us what we needed to be able to afford to buy the car. We gave him a figure and he and his manager, Dave, worked together to get what we needed. We took the quote home to think about it over the weekend. Wes didn't put pressure on us-he told us it was important that we feel comfortable with our decision. His attitude was greatly appreciated. We looked at the inventory online, and when we went back on Monday Wes was willing to look it up and work up another quote. We added a rear view camera and wheel locks. Again Wes and his manager got what we needed! Wes took us around to meet the rest of the team. Mo, Dave, and the parts department - everyone was very friendly and helpful, and answered our questions. We were able to pick up our car the next day after the rear view mirror and wheel locks had been installed. Wes explained all the options and features to us. He told us to call him if we have problems, questions, or concerns. It's nice to know we have a resource person to call on if necessary. Our experience was wonderful! It's obvious that customer service is important to everyone there, and we will definitely recommend them to others! More
