Check engine light came on. I took car in. I was told I would have to pay $158 for diagnostic unless I did the repair. They put the car on the computer and found it was merely a bad gas cap. They replace would have to pay $158 for diagnostic unless I did the repair. They put the car on the computer and found it was merely a bad gas cap. They replaced it and charged me $189 for the gas cap including a large service charge. In my opinion that was very excessive. Next time I need service I will go to an independent service place. Furthermore I have an extended service warranty and think it should have been covered. More
