It was difficult to get a manager with whom to speak, but when Rafael finally appeared, he offered me a car that was $ 7 000 more than the car that I was prepared to buy. Don’t go to Kendall Toyota! I went to check a queer noise when my new 2020 Camry is turned on and a forced sound when accelerate (my last Camry 2011 was smoother) After two hours in a parking lot (I saw it and a camera can verify it) they called me to check out. At the end they told me that Eco Mode sound like this and everything was OK. Why did I have to wait so long for a short conclusion? More

This was basically a bait and switch experience with the traditional bogus extra fees....To everyone reading this, do research before heading to the dealership. If you spend just a few minutes looking up vi traditional bogus extra fees....To everyone reading this, do research before heading to the dealership. If you spend just a few minutes looking up videos on YouTube or reading a couple of articles, you will save yourself a lot of money and aggravation. The visit to this dealership seemed to start off well with a seemingly nice salesman, I later realized this was like most dealerships that people complain about where they seem to try to pry every extra dollar they can out of your hands. I found a great used car on their website that pretty much met all my requirements for about $11k, when I arrived to the dealership I couldn’t find the car on the lot so I asked if it was sold. The salesman helped me look for it and it turned out it was still on the lot but priced for about $13,500, already leading me to thing I would run into issues since they were clearly trying to run a bait and switch kind of situation. After taking the car for a test drive and looking it over for a few minutes we sat down to discuss pricing and the like. I was given some weird story about how the discrepancy in online and lot price was just a mistake but that maybe they could work with me to get me a price closer to the $11k. The sales rep left to speak to his supervisor and he came back with a total price of over $16k, $11k price plus a bunch of other fees. I was beyond insulted that they thought I wouldn’t realize they tried to bury the difference in random made up fees so I said that total wasn’t acceptable and they needed to bring it down. The rep spoke to his supervisor again who came out to join the conversation briefly. The supervisor said he understood where I was coming from and asked me some questions and said they would review the contract and provide a revised version. When the rep returned he had only knocked off maybe a thousand dollars so that’s when I started looking at the contract line by line to see what fees looked unnecessary. After some back and forth we finally decided on $13,500 although I still felt they overcharged and realized after that I should have done more research on the car buying process (not just the car pricing like I had done) to avoid being bamboozled. They were trying to overcharge me even on the title fee which is clearly stated on the state dmv website. I wasn’t too surprised by this experience unfortunately. Two reps were involved with this purchase, I think this is a dealership issue not an individual rep issue. More
