I would have to say the overall experience at Kenny Ross was good. We had a very nice salesperson Dominick. The sales manager Chris as well as Dave were very nice and worked within the budget we had. The only thing is I would recommend that salespeople should not make quotes to customers and then not be able to back them up when you are quoted a certain price and by the time you enter the sales floor that price has jumped an additional $105.00 to 150.00 dollars that's an issue. Also they should not discuss credit bureaus and the like since they really have no idea what they are talking about. The only part of this process that I did not like was working with Jarrod the finance guy I thought he was rude and no very personable. The night before we picked up our car I heard how he talked to Dominick and felt that being co-workers there should have been a little more respect especially in front of customers. The day we signed for our car he tried to sale us additional packages basically implying without these we would be sunk if anything happened to the new car we had just purchased from you. When we declined he printed we declined that underline it and made us sign it, which made me feel like an admonished child in kindergarten. My husband asked him if he liked what he was doing and he flat out told us no. So maybe you need to teach Jarrod a little customer service. So yes I would recommend your dealership to anyone Dominick worked hard and even made sure that the car was detailed very spotless for pick-up. It looked awesome. Chris was very helpful when I called him and also made a point to introduce himself when the deal was sealed. Also Dave really worked with us regarding the numbers. Thanks to all.... More
Searched and looked all over the tri county and Ohio area for a great end of the year deal on a 2010 Ford Edge. George was only 1 of four dealers who kept in touch with me via internet. On a chance we stopped in to meet george and see if they wanted to sell a car. Ended up buying the one we wanted on a Saturday only to find out on the following Tuesday, the car was already sold off another dealers lot. The people at Kenny Ross realy went the extra mile to help us out. The sales mamager Dave worked with my wife and I for hours searching the inventory from dealers all over the East. It was not easy and it was very stressfull, but Dave was the right guy for the job. Everyone remained calm we worked toggether to locate an Edge in Harrisburgh, PA. They picked it up (no extra charge), cleaned it up and sold it to use last week. This Edge was a few hundred more than the one we origionally purchased, so they sold it to us at the same price as the first Edge. They also discounted the undercoating and paint treatment, the extended warenty and some additional items we still want for the Edge. It goes back next week for it's little issues we have discovered, let hope they will provide the same great service as they ddid with the sale. We were supprised, they did what s good sales staff should do, fix the problem and make the customer happy without ripping them off. Maybe that's why Ford never took the goverment money - good product and good people. We were glad to purchase on 9/11 from Ford and re-support the american workers and companies. I brought my car in to the dealership for an oil change. I don't normally use a dealer, but it was late in the day and I heard they had evenong hours. My old car was on it's last miles so I had to find a car that I could afford and also because I'm picky it had to look nice. I was a nervous wreck because I just went there first thing in the morning without any idea what I wanted or what I could get and just thinking it wasn't going to happen. Mr. Stover talked to me and calmed my nerves about getting the car and told me they would do their best for me and they did. Not only did I qualify for a new car I got a new Focus with a full package. The experience of buying my car was just wonderful. I told him how much I could afford and I got something that was really nice. As I signed my paper work for my car again the person in charge of that paper work was very personable. I left there thinking with the economy so bad Kenny Ross was there for people that are having a rough time and need someone to be for real and understanding. Kenny Ross Ford South found me a car and met my price I will always go there first for all my car needs. I will also take my car there for service. I was introduced to the sales managers of the dealership and then shown the picture of the mechanic who will be my contact when I bring my car in for service. This dealership really cares about you and trying to satisfy your car needs. This is dealership that knows what true customer service is. More
Our salesman Brian was very nice, informative and helpful for our new Ford Ranger purchase. After many assurances of the cars' stuctural integrity After many assurances of the cars' stuctural integrity and clean accident record,I purchased a "risk free" 2003 Ford Taurus SEL with 49,327miles on N After many assurances of the cars' stuctural integrity and clean accident record,I purchased a "risk free" 2003 Ford Taurus SEL with 49,327miles on November 1, 2009. Since that purchase date,in March 2009(only 4,000 miles later), I had to totally replace the front disc brake rotors and pads, replace the rear drum assembly and rear drum brakes,and get the tires balanced ($390.00). At that service visit, I was also told that both tie rods needed replacing ($308.00). Just one month later,after trying the a/c, smoke began billowing from the engine. When brought to Kenny Ross Ford, they informed me that the a/c system would need a total repair. After charging me $45.48 to check the a/c,I was hit with an estimated repair bill of nearly $1800.00. Now, just six months later (June 2009), the rear springs have broken on the car AND I was told by the tow truck operator the car has had front end damage and "fairly extensive" body work. To date I have received only one offer of assistance from Kenny Ross Ford;"go to a junk yard and find the parts needed, then find a mechanic to install the parts." Nice, huh? I will keep everyone at Dealerrater informed with further updates. More
