Lied To Me and Wasted My Time, My Kids' Time Submitted an inquiry online for a 2015 Focus Sedan Titanium. Got a response via email from John Sobocinski. I explained that I had been to another de Submitted an inquiry online for a 2015 Focus Sedan Titanium. Got a response via email from John Sobocinski. I explained that I had been to another dealership (Moon Twp Ford) and wasn't able to get the car I wanted, so I hoped he could help me. I explained my situation in detail to him (negative equity on my trade in), I told him exactly what I needed in payment amount, etc. He told me "there are ways around that", assured me we could get a deal, and had me fill out the credit application...then he disappeared. I contacted him at least three times before I received a response, which just stated "he as able to get one bank to approve. And they are asking for $1000 down. So let me know when you can come in with the $1,000 down and you can have the Titanium you want!". That is all he said to me. I responded that I would like to come in that evening or the next, and he never responded. I stopped by the following evening with my kids in tow, the only time I was able to come in, and John wasn't there, but another salesman took over. He proceeded to inform me that the payments would be $600/month, which is over $200 more than what I had told John I needed. He got the finance manager to come over, and HE talked to me like I was a child, with an attitude like I was asking him to GIVE me the car for free (when in fact I was upfront with John from the beginning about what I could and could not do, money wise, and was led to believe it wouldn't be a problem BY HIM, not myself!). The finance manager couldn't have cared less, and basically behaved as though he didn't need the hassle of dealing with me anyway. I have never been jerked around, lied to and treated like dirt so much in my entire life. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to ANYONE. More

Salesmen yell at the customers! They do not budge on used car prices, especially if you are using some discount program such as the USAA car buying service. I did not know this. This kind of approach was not explained to me by anybody who worked there, so I thought they were intentionally not helping me on the price. When I asked a representative from USAA about this program, I was told that I could try to haggle the dealer for a better price. When I told one of the salesman here, Ben Aul, he yelled at me and called me a liar. I called to complain and the used car manager, Bill Marnich, told me "there are two sides to every story"... as if I had it coming! No customer deserves to be treated so rudely. Do not buy a car from Kenny Ross Ford South. Post Review Edit: After submitting the prior text, the general manager of Kenny Ross Ford South responded and offered a reduced price on the car I was considering. However, due to my treatment I would not have purchased a car from this dealership anyway. I went and bought a car elsewhere, but the general manager did try to do the right thing and resolve the situation. More
