Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. The reason that we had the new vehicle you were considering discounted $2,000 is based on current market conditions, availability, age of inventory, color, and equipment. We price our cars aggressively in the marketplace to ensure a fair market based price that consumers do not have to negotiate for. When it comes to trade ins, there are many different guides that a consumer can use and look at such as KBB, BlackBook, and JD Powers. Sometimes these guides are much lower than current market values, sometimes they are much higher than current market conditions. Every consumer wants the most money they can possibly get for their trade in, but at times those values do not align with retail market conditions. The most important part of the transaction is what the trade difference is. The value you are seeking for your car is the same amount that current models such as yours are currently listed for sale at. If you find that we have the most aggressively priced new car you are looking for, we are happy to sell you the new car without your trade in.

Anny is correct. Toyota has not allowed factory orders in several years, and never has in the same fashion as other manufacturers. It is possible that you made a request of the other dealer and they were allocated something that was a close approximation, or they dealer traded for something that met your requirements, but we can assure you they did not order them. In the future, don’t call us liars, and don’t question what we do for a living. Enjoy your next vehicle.
