purchased 2010 chevy suburban. on way home service engine light came on and then i noticed oil pressure was only 25 pounds going 70 mph. pulled off checked oil and it had oil in on way home service engine light came on and then i noticed oil pressure was only 25 pounds going 70 mph. pulled off checked oil and it had oil in it. got home had a mechanic run the codes and had po521 and po011 codes. which is caused by low oil pressure or dirty oil. oil wasn't dirty because it was just changed. had to replace vvt actuator valve and checked oil again and this time oil was very dirty by time i got home. so had oil changed and when it came out it was like water. had oil tested and it was only 0-20w oil and that motor takes 5w-30. so the thing oil damaged the sensor and once sensor was replaced and correct oil grade i got over 40 psi going down the road. so i suggest don't use 0-20w oil in those 5.3L gm engines. My card was in for standard service. Oil change, tire rotation etc. Service was very good. Only issue I had was when my car was brought back after service they had my car parked almost o Oil change, tire rotation etc. Service was very good.
