I brought my Jeep Wrangler in for an exhaust leak and was told I needed an exhaust clamp. The service department installed the clamp but the exhaust leak was exactly the same so I brought it back. I was then told I needed an exhaust clamp. The service department installed the clamp but the exhaust leak was exactly the same so I brought it back. I was then told that there was a leak at the exhaust manifold and that the bolts were fairly corroded and they needed to replace all of them and charged me for doing that. When I picked up the Jeep Not only was the exhaust leak still there but it was actually louder and I could smell it. I immediately turned around and brought my Jeep back and was told that the exhaust leaks are fixed and it's just something loose and rattling around in one of my catalytic converters and that it would be fine and eventually the converter would fail and would need to be replaced. I know my catalytic converter is still under warranty and I also know what an exhaust leak sounds and smells like. I brought my Jeep to another dealership and was told that they needed to redo the work and that I should consider bringing it back to them because otherwise they would have to charge me for the repair. I told them that I had no intentions bringing it back since I took it three times and was lied to and they didn't fix it. I just picked up my Jeep from the other dealership and everything is fine so I went to the service department and told them that I was not happy, had been lied to, they had tried to tell me something that was blatantly untrue and when I demanded my money back they told me was not going to happen. They told me I was free to continue going to the other dealership and I told him I plan to and I didn't need their permission for it. This service department is horrible, they can't fix what they sell, and they don't stand behind their work. They didn't fix the issue and told me that it was fine and to put up with it. I will never use then for anything in the future and will tell everyone whom I ride with about this experience! More
