I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a 2011 Ford Fiesta from Salem Ford Hyundai in Salem, NH. I went to the dealership originally for repairs due to an accident on my vehicle. The Auto Body Departme Fiesta from Salem Ford Hyundai in Salem, NH. I went to the dealership originally for repairs due to an accident on my vehicle. The Auto Body Department was so phenominal that I decided to inquire about potentially getting into a newer used car than what I currently owned. Having less than perfect credit and only owning my car for several months, I wasnt very hopeful. I was graciously greeted by a salesman named Jordan Perry. He was professional, knowledgable, and possessed a trait "most" car salesmen do not have; HONESTY! He made me feel comfortable, important and worthy!! He found me a car that met every criteria I was looking for and put the deal together in record time!! I got a fair price and top dollar on my trade. In less than 24 hours, I was driving my shiny sporty new Fiesta home!! I couldnt have been more satisfied from the second I walked in to the dealership to taking possession of my new vehicle!! I give Salem Ford Hyundai 5 stars and would recommend them to my family and friends in a hot second!! Great job guys!! More

He was very helpful and attentive. Fit me into the car I wanted for the price. Did NOT try to sell me something I didn't want. Was very pleased with how personable he was. I will definitely come back here t wanted for the price. Did NOT try to sell me something I didn't want. Was very pleased with how personable he was. I will definitely come back here to get a car. Bait and switch is alive and well. I was given a really good price on a silver Sonata by phone by their internet rep. They did not have the color car I wanted but she told me they would get one at no addit good price on a silver Sonata by phone by their internet rep. They did not have the color car I wanted but she told me they would get one at no additional cost to me. All I had to do was drive up from Mass to put down a deposit. Sounds fair to me, no problem, I said. I meet the manager. He whips out a spread sheet with Sonatas they could get transfers on. I’m suspicious, why do I need to see this? Turns out this charade was to make it clear to me that my internet price was no good. He couldn’t give me a specific price but it was going to be higher than my original quote. (Also, he explained the internet price is based on rebates that you may or may not qualify for.) At that point, silly me, I should have walked. But I was ready to buy a car that day. I mentioned that there was grey Sonata on their website that I was interested in. Not my first choice but the internet price was too good to pass up. Instead the manager shows me a deluxe model Sonata. What about the grey Sonata? Sorry, he tells me, that car is no longer on the lot. (When I got home the grey Sonata was still listed on their website. This is deception pure and simple.) I almost bit on this Sonata but I did a walk around and realized the color was blue-silver. On a grey day that color looks powder blue. Lucky for me I caught this before any money changed hands. To sum it up, I hate dealerships because of the sleaze factor involved in buying a car. Key Auto Group (Salem Ford Hyundai) appealed to me because their website promises is a no hassle sales experience. Was I naive? Yes, guilty as charged. P.S. They called me the next day and surprise, they have a grey Sonata on the lot. I told the manager that I was not interested in driving up to NH for my second choice color. He tried to make me feel guilty by telling me that they were out the transfer fee because they had gotten it especially for me. More
I've purchased 15 cars in my lifetime and this was the best experience of all. Michael was professional, polite, helpful, and gave me NO bull. The price was broken down in detail (Ford rebate, trade-in, best experience of all. Michael was professional, polite, helpful, and gave me NO bull. The price was broken down in detail (Ford rebate, trade-in, Salem discount). I walked in at 10:00 a.m., bought the car in less than 2 hours, and picked it up at 2:00 p.m.! Even the manager (sorry I forgot his name) who did the paperwork was outstanding; not pushy on the extended warranty and other services AT ALL. I'm still in shock and I love my Fusion; it beats my old Camry and my Toyota dealership experiences in all respects. I'll be back for another car, if their service is as good as the sales experience. I had the truck towed to the dealer and they charged me $186 to diagnose the problem. They said the PCM ( power control module )computer was bad and the part alone was $831. He said the PCM had been worked $186 to diagnose the problem. They said the PCM ( power control module )computer was bad and the part alone was $831. He said the PCM had been worked on before and there were metal filings inside from someone working on it. The PCM had been changed a few years before by another dealer so I smelled a rat and ordered a replacement PCM from a third source. I replaced the PCM in their parking lot in 4 minutes flat and the truck would still not start. I towed the truck to another service center and they replaced the injector control module and the truck ran fine with the original PCM. I opened the PCM up when I had it out of the vehicle and it is nothing more than a single PC board sealed with clear silicone, no metal filing and no evidence of filing. The part was just like new. There was nothing filed anywhere. More
In general, this was a great experience. I knew what car I wanted for the last 2 months, new 2012 Hyundai Azera with Technology Package. With this in mind, I had gone to couple of other local Hyundai deale I wanted for the last 2 months, new 2012 Hyundai Azera with Technology Package. With this in mind, I had gone to couple of other local Hyundai dealerships, and didn't really like the way they did the whole "let me check on the best price for you... I'll go and talk to the manager in the back..." Also heard the "oh this is the best time, as we are at the end of the month. Can get you a great deal right now." Well, needless to say I didn't get the deal I was expecting or even felt it was fair. One place they were even rude when they knew they couldn't offer a rate that I was comfortable with. Well, then I managed to find Salem Ford Hyundai. I spent some time on the phone with a online sales rep and got an idea of the pricing. She gave me their actual no-haggle rate. Which was well below I what was expecting. So, we got an appointment and went in. They were very friendly, but didn't have the colors that my wife wanted. So they spent some more time and called up all dealerships in NE to find exactly our match. At the end of it, they gave us exactly the car we wanted and didn't try to pull a fast on over us. We really appreciate the great service they provided. At the end of it all, when I was signing the final papers for financing the car, they did change some figures... they were able to find me a 2.9% for 60 months, instead of the 3.9% that Hyundai financing was providing. :) I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking to buy a good Hyundai or Ford from honest people. From the time we walked in the door to purchase our used car the experience was great! Our salesperson, Joel, was very down to earth and not your typical car salesman. No pressure, quick service, and did car the experience was great! Our salesperson, Joel, was very down to earth and not your typical car salesman. No pressure, quick service, and did not try to force me into something I did not want. I never once heard the phase, "what do we need to do to get you into this car today". It took a total of three hours from the time we set foot on the property until we drove away with my new/used car. I have had some bad experiences with dealerships in the past and this was by far the best. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to give them a shot. More
I went there to test drive a new Santa Fe, 2012. I fell in love with the V6 limited, with 276hp. I was amazed at how much pickup this vehicle had compared to the CRV/Honda which had no power. The inside of in love with the V6 limited, with 276hp. I was amazed at how much pickup this vehicle had compared to the CRV/Honda which had no power. The inside of the Santa Fe impressed me greatly with the moonroof, voice activated navigational, USB ports, easy to use features--what a luxury vehicle with a real sporty feel. Lois, my salesman was very knowledgable and I even asked him to drive it after I did so I could see how well it rode from sitting in the passenger seat. I was blown away with the speed in an SUV!!! He told me i should get about 26 mpg, on the ECO mode. I didn't believe him because I had a Honda Odyssey and never saw anything close to that. I will have to say that Lois was Right!! I am getting close to 30mpg on most highway trips, and I have seen 33 mpg as well. The ride is fantastic--and I will be forever grateful to this dealership for their honesty -- non pressure -- great demo -- great knowledge of the Hyundai lineup of vehicles. I met the management team after I bought my Santa Fe, they gave me also top of the line booklets in a case with a pen. My neighbors referred me to this dealership. I am very happy I had an opportunity to go and buy from them. I spent three months looking for a replacement of my Honda Odyssey and fell in love with the Santa Fe immediately. S. Decarolis More
