I brought the 2013 Explorer in for some routine service along with an AM radio which did not work properly. The dealership had the vehicle for 14+ days. Supposedly the alternator was replace at the sugge along with an AM radio which did not work properly. The dealership had the vehicle for 14+ days. Supposedly the alternator was replace at the suggestion of Ford Tech. Supposedly, several additional test were done again supposedly at the suggestion of Ford Tech. The problem was not fixed. I even took the service department and service manager on a side by side comparison to two other new 2013 Explorers. Both of those radios worked fine on AM. My vehicle just made a scratchy howling noise. Supposedly, Ford Tech told the service department it is atmospheric interference. This is a total fabrication because 2 other 2013 Explorers where fine in a side by side comparison. It has now been 2 additional weeks since I picked up the vehicle and still no resolution to fixing the vehicle. I did receive a phone call from the service manager telling me he would continue to work with Ford Tech to resolve the problems. I have a question - how long would you suggest I wait before starting a Florida Lemon Law compliant ? More
