An extremely disgusting place, where the staff and management demonstrated unprofessionalism. My car stayed at their dealership for over 4.5 months, which is completely unacceptable. My wife and I have had an unfortunate series of experiences at Keyes Hyundai of Van Nuys. In July, we were negotiating the purchase of a new Hyundai EV. After much back and forth we had an agree experiences at Keyes Hyundai of Van Nuys. In July, we were negotiating the purchase of a new Hyundai EV. After much back and forth we had an agreement with our salesperson, Shakespeare, to purchase a specific car at a specific price. We even verified the car in advance by VIN. However, when we arrived at the dealership Shakespeare told us that the actual price for the car was $1,000 higher. My wife and I walked out and Shakespeare followed us to the parking lot. He agreed to drop the price by $500 and also throw in a charger and all weather floor mats. Because the value of the charger and floor mats made up the remaining $500 difference we agreed to the deal. When we went to pick up the car they did not include the floor mats because they were not available. They offered no alternative. We told them in no uncertain terms that we expected them to honor the deal and provide the floor mats at a later date. Now months later, we still don’t have the floor mats. Shakespeare has stopped responding to our texts. We’ve called the dealership multiple times asking to speak with a manager and no one has called us back. When we finally reached someone over email, they apologized for our frustration and delay and promised to have someone contract us to resolve the situation. That was two weeks ago and still nothing even though I’ve continued to follow up. Keyes Hyundai not only have now reneged twice on deals they made with us but they’ve been completely unresponsive — not even calling us back. I cannot recommend anyone do business with this dealership. We certainly won’t anymore. More
I have never experienced such disrespect and lack of professionalism from a dealership in my life. My service advisor, Jonathan Hughes, avoided me at all costs — never picked up calls, never returned messages, and acted like it was his job to dodge responsibility. Completely unresponsive and irresponsible. When I reached out to the manager, Sean, I sent more than 10 emails with no reply. Clearly, customers are not a priority here. The lack of urgency and repeated broken promises have left me stranded without a car for extended periods of time. They claim to care, but it’s just empty words. Even their standard “please contact our manager” reply is meaningless — because I already did, many times, and was ignored. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. Customers deserve professionals who care, not dismissive and negligent service staff. I have found other people who received same issues or worse. More
