I first bought a Kia Sorento from Kia Country in 2005. After driving so many miles, I knew it was time for another one. I pondered other vehicles/SUVs, but nothing compared to the Kia value/cost/satisfaction/customer service, so I went back to Kia Country. Dreading the process in general, I took my sister along (who also happened to be "thinking" of trading in her Volvo for an SUV, as she had borrowed mine a few times). The moment we arrived/stepped out of the car, I felt at ease, as we were welcomed by Ken Hines. Without a doubt it was the most enjoyable car-buying experience I have had. Ken worked with me from the start, helping me to find just what I wanted, and nothing more (I'm not much for the bells and whistles, just good transportation, with versatility). I was thinking of a 2011/2012, but ended up leaving with a 2013 Sorento, a great deal I just couldn't pass up. I've been extremely happy with the car (and my kids love the a/c in the back seat). I went from a V6 to V4, and love the difference in mileage. For anyone looking to purchase a car/SUV, I would recommend Ken Hines of Kia Country. The customer service was excellent, not just with Ken, but from Daniel and Jeremy as well. My sister was so impressed with them that she also drove away in a new car. Even though we kept them there late, they were very positive and happy to help. I truly appreciate the staff turning the "dreaded process" into a very positive one. Thanks so much... I decided to tag along with my sister when she mentioned that she was going to Kia County of Charleston to see about replacing her 2006 Sorento with a newer model. We were dreading the evening and not looking forward to sales pitches and haggling. When we pulled into the dealership, Mr. KEN HINES kindly greeted us with a friendly smile. And to our surprise the fun began... After listening to my sister explain what she needed, KEN patiently showed us used and new Sorentos. My sister did not expect that she was going to be able to get a brand new Sorento until KEN HINES - without pressure - made the deal happen! I was so impressed with the Sorento, the no pressure sales, and overall experience at Kia Country of Charleston, that I ended up trading in my Volvo for a Sorento! The General Sales Manager, Daniel Hensley, and Business Manager, Jeremy Wilson, also made the process easy and painless! My sister and I left the dealership that evening with matching Kia Sorentos and a new friend. I did not realize that buying a car could be so much fun. The overall experience was great! We have been to several Kia dealerships over the past 2 months and ended up coming back to Kia Country to purchase a new Sorento. We were very pleased with the way they did business and Harry Bannister was months and ended up coming back to Kia Country to purchase a new Sorento. We were very pleased with the way they did business and Harry Bannister was a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely recommend him. We have had past experiences in dealerships where the Sales Manager has to come over and try to close the deal. We appreciated how Harry Bannister worked diligently with us throughout the process without us having to deal with a Manager to close the deal. Overall the whole process was quite painless and we feel like we got the deal we were looking for. Thanks Harry Bannister! More
Elijah Tucker was very knowledgeable of the product. He was informative but not pushy. We checked several dealerships but decided on this one mainly due to the relationship we developed with Elijah. Sam Washington is certainly an asset to this dealership, very knowledgeable of not only Kia products but those of competitors. Our overall experience with Sam and Brian was a pleasure. The entire process was complete in less than 2 hours. We purchased the car on a Sunday so service was closed. We came back on Monday, dropped the car off to cleaned and service and Sam dropped it back off to us. What more can you ask for? We most impressed. More
