I searched high and low for a 2011 Kia Sorento with a manual transmission in Florida. I found several but couldn't get a good deal from any of the dealers based on it's limited availability. So I started to search outside of the state and came across Kia Country. I spoke with Courtney Lydecker in the beginning and she was a very sweet person to deal with. When we almost agreed to a deal, Sam Washington became involved. He said that he really wanted to earn my business. As per my request, we discussed only out-the-door prices. I told him my budget and he worked with me on getting me the best price. I agreed to his final offer and felt good about the purchase. Unfortunately, at the very last minute, a local dealer (within 150 miles) undercut their price by a couple hundred dollars. Taking into account airfare and hotel rates, I opted to go with this local dealer. But my overall experience dealing with Courtney and Sam was outstanding. Even the dealer I ended up purchasing the vehicle gave me attitude, as if he was doing me a big favor for giving me a good price. With Courtney and Sam, there was no pressure and everything was handled over the phone in a clear and transparent manner. I highly recommend these two individuals based on their professionalism and their courtesy. I only wish I could've given them the sale but my decision was purely a financial one. More

After researching all the area Kia dealerships, WV, KY, VA, my brother, whom lives in Charleston, SC, heard a radio advertisement regarding Kia Country's deals on his way to our family reunion. Once we arrived, Sam immediately drove our daughter's new car to her (which thrilled her!). We were there for only a short time, signed the papers, and was on our way! Mitch, the service manager and Melissa both made me feel very welcome even though I was not purchasing my vehicle from their dealership. After expressing my concerns about purchasing a discontinued model (Borrego), the service team - Mitch, Melissa, and Tim went out of their way to make me feel at ease. They went into great detail on the Borrego, their service department policies, a tour of the facilities, and introduction to service personnel. As a result of this I was convinced to purchase the Borrego. Kia Country of Charleston has serviced my car for the past 9 months, and assisted me with warranty claims. I am very pleased with their knowledge, professionalis, friendliness, and great service they have given to me. More
