Liz Ramirez and the team at Delray Kia made the buying process seamless. I was waiting for an EV6 GT Line which is in high demand. I approached other Kia dealers but they were less flexible. Liz really ma process seamless. I was waiting for an EV6 GT Line which is in high demand. I approached other Kia dealers but they were less flexible. Liz really made me comfortable immediately I had completed some early research before walking into the dealership. Liz was knowledgeable and familiar with the tech requirements for this electric SUV. She understood my needs answered every question and if she did not know the answer would reach out for support. The test drive allowed me to take the car through it's paces not just around the block and back to the showroom which really solidified my decision. I was given credit for my military service which made the deal even sweeter. The business manager Brett beat my qualified interest rate from another lender and made sure I was given every discount allowed and not oversold on additional services. I actually went back today for some vehicle fine tuning from the delivery and Liz once again delivered as promised and even offered to stay later at work if necessary. Go Team Delray! More
Cristian F was great, made sure to get me into the car I wanted. I knew I was going to like the Telluride as my mother in law has one but I love it even more than I thought. wanted. I knew I was going to like the Telluride as my mother in law has one but I love it even more than I thought. More

In February 2022, we decided to order a new Kia Carnival since we couldn’t find one in stock. I called every dealership from Miami to Vero Beach and Kia Delray had the lowest markup so we decided to order f since we couldn’t find one in stock. I called every dealership from Miami to Vero Beach and Kia Delray had the lowest markup so we decided to order from them. The ordering process was relatively easy, except for options that were not available from the factory. When I asked how long it would take, the salesman said optimistically, 2-3 months, but it could be up to 6 months due to supply chain issues. I called or sent an email weekly to get a status of the order and was consistently met with no news. After a couple of months, I decided to lower the frequency of my follow up to monthly. Unfortunately, when I reached out to the dealership they told me the same. I patiently waited until the 6-month mark came. I called the dealership to find out why there was no status on my order. I was then told that my order was not submitted in February (like I thought it was) due to the 2022 model year close outs and 2023 model year becoming available. I was also notified that my order was actually place in the beginning of June. I asked, “why didn’t anyone call me and let me know what was going on when the order wasn’t placed and finally was?” The sales manager apologized but nothing more. Given that the vehicle was already ordered and scheduled for arrival in early September I decided to proceed with the sale. The dealership notified me that the car would be delayed and then when it arrived. We scheduled a time to go in and complete the sale. I tried to complete as much of the sale online as possible and completed a trade valuation and credit application online. I was trading in a 2018 Ford Explorer Limited that their online valuation tool valued at $23,000. When I arrived at the dealership the first thing they did was took a look at my trade in. They lowballed me at $20,000! I was able to talk them up to $21,000, but it wasn’t the $23,000 the online tool estimated. The salesman that I dealt with, Tyler, was very friendly and attentive while we were there and the finance manager was nice too. I definitely did not get a good vibe from the management and car appraisers and was pressured numerous times to rate the dealer with the highest score possible, even giving me a sheet with exactly how to give the best scores. I completed the purchase and took my family home. I was contacted by the finance manager the following day because I had to resign the contract due to an error entering the lease terms. I thought that is was no big deal. Also during the time after completing the sale I had the opportunity to get to know the car better and realized that features that I ordered were not on the vehicle. When I went back to the dealer to sign the new contract the sales manager from the day that I completed the sale was there and I talked to him about the features and getting them ordered and installed. I told him that I would pay for the parts and asked if the dealership would cover the installation, since if they were ordered there would’ve been no installation cost. The sales manager quickly shot that down and said that the service department doesn’t give them any breaks on installation costs. He also informed me that the car that I purchased a couple of days earlier was NOT the car that I ordered and the car that I ordered had no ETA yet. He told me that if a car comes in similar to one that’s ordered they swap them out. This was the first that I heard of this and no one told me that the vehicle that I purchased wasn’t the one that I ordered. I felt like they pulled a bait and switch and the felt very misled. I then went back to the Kia website to see if the options on my vehicle were still available. I learned that the 2023 Kia Carnival build process had new features that I had originally wanted but were not available on the 2022 model (my initial build). I also continued to try to work with the dealership to get the items I wanted to order with the vehicle (auto-dimming mirror & Light kit) installed at a reduced installation cost. I was told that they wouldn’t cover any of the cost. The salesman, Tyler, was great as he offered to pay $300 from his own pocket, IF I gave him a perfect score on the survey. I obliged and submitted the survey, as requested. A few days later, an acquaintance informed me that he got a better deal at Greenway Kia for the highest trim level model Kia Carnival. This made me feel further taken advantage of and misled by Kia Delray’s management. They should’ve called me once they realized that a mistake was made and my order wasn’t processed, especially since I paid the $1,000 deposit and was constantly following up with them about the status of the order. They should’ve apologized for the error and confirmed that I still wanted to order the vehicle and inform me of any new features and accessories available on the 2023 model prior to submitting my order. Had they done so, I would’ve told them to order the options that I really wanted. I feel like they dropped the ball and because of it I don’t truly have the vehicle that I want. I definitely do not value my experience with Kia Delray as a whole, but I will say that Tyler did everything he could to try and resolve my issues. I definitely think that the management encourages doing whatever it takes to get the max sale, even if it’s dishonest and misleading. More
