After a terrible experience with Kia of Alhambra, where they sold the car they ordered specifically for me 6 months before to someone who paid more money when it finally arrived, I was pretty sure that I w they sold the car they ordered specifically for me 6 months before to someone who paid more money when it finally arrived, I was pretty sure that I would not be getting a Sorento Plug-In Hybrid at all. The 2022s were the last Kia is making and there were none to be found anywhere with the specs I wanted (there hadn't been for months). On a whim, I called Kia of Downtown LA after reading some positive reviews on a dealer rating website. Daniel was so kind and understanding about what had happened with the car being sold from under me. He said it would be hard because they are scarce, but that he would try to find me one. He did!! In a couple of days, he called me and said one was coming in a couple of weeks and encouraged me to reserve it that minute because it would be gone fast. No deposit. Just my driver's license. I did. From there the price negotiation was fair and easy. He answered every question I had while I waited quickly and with patience. When it came time to go in yesterday everything was exactly as we agreed ahead of time... zero surprises and the PHEV Sorento is gorgeous! Chris in finance was a pleasure, respected our time and got us in and out quickly. I highly recommend calling Daniel if you are in the market for a Kia. They are really fantastic cars ... I have always been a German car girl but Kia has really stepped up their game and the quality ... especially of the EVs and PHEVs is awesome. More

DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING A THE CAR YOU WANT AND AT THE END THEY SAY I GETS SOLD AND TRY TO FORCE AND CONVINCE YOU TO BUY SOMETHING DIFFERENT. DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING A CAR HERE, ALAN KASSIRA IS A SHADY CAR DEALER MANAGER AND HE WILL TRY TO PLAY YOU. HE WILL EVEN RAISE HIS VOICE AT CUSTOMERS AND BLAME THE CUSTOMERS FOR THE DEALERS CROOKED SALES TACTICS. I came here on 5/21/2022 to see the value of my 2017 Kia Forte. Shakir was a somewhat nice associate and he tried to help me his best. He began by convincing me to trade my car in for a new Kia Seltos. Originally I just wanted to trade my car in for cash because I want to buy an AWD Subaru; yet Shakir showed me an AWD 2022 Kia Seltos, I test drove it, and I decided it was ok to trade my car in for this one. They then ask for my pink slip and I made a 5 minute call to my house to make sure the location of my pink slip to continue the deal. Shakir then informs me that during my phone call, the car I test drove and agreed to purchase, had been sold to someone else and he proceeded to try to pressure me to buy another Kia Seltos (that is not AWD) it was only a front wheel drive. I travel a lot and off road a lot so I need an AWD. THE WHOLE REASON I WANT TO TRADE MY CAR IN OR GET CASH FOR IT IS SO THAT I COULD BUY AN ALL WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE. AND I MADE THAT VERY CLEAR IN THE BEGINNING. Shakir was unable to convince me to accept this vehicle, so he told me to step into the managers office, ALAN KASSIRA, because he wanted to speak to me. ALAN KASSIRA proceeded with the statement "So there is so possible way you would want this car without the AWD?" I explained to him that they just spent an hour of my time selling me an AWD car, I test drove an AWD, they ran my credit for an AWD and that's what I agreed to buy.. an AWD vehicle. He then raised his tone and told me that it was my fault anyway, that the car was sold since I'm the one who had to make a 5 min phone call. SO NOT ONLY DID THIS DEALER WASTE MY TIME, BUT THEY TRIED TO BAIT AND SWITCH ME AND THEY GAS LIGHT THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS. I WOULD RATHER BURN MY MONEY THEN TO GIVE IT TO THIS DEALER. SHOPPERS BEWARE. More

I drove 100 miles based on being told they had a specific vehicle in stock, only to find when I arrived that they did not. The vehicle they did have in another color was priced significantly higher than the vehicle in stock, only to find when I arrived that they did not. The vehicle they did have in another color was priced significantly higher than the vehicle I spoke to the rep about on the phone. Fortunately, we were able to make a deal I could live with, though not one I was truly happy about. More
