I scheduled my service for this day to have my recall service done. Not only was I quoted a different time (1.5 hours) than it actually took (3+), then they spent time doing a service that I didn’t come service done. Not only was I quoted a different time (1.5 hours) than it actually took (3+), then they spent time doing a service that I didn’t come for, before telling me that they didn’t have the part they needed for the actual service I came for in the first place. When I told Mike A. this, he couldn’t even look me in the eye. He didn’t say anything when I said, “this is why I scheduled my appointment for this day in the first place. I was told it would be done today.” Then, I was told it would be done in half an hour - I’m getting it done at another service center who quoted me 2 hours. They are disorganized and untrustworthy. Poor service. Lazy service members who don't follow up. I took my car in so Kia could check the anti-theft update. The service rep Jonathan Zelaya acted as though he and Kia Downtown were doing me a favor. Completely unprofessional. Claimed to have no knowledge that Kia North America was sending out a tech, although the corporate office had coordinated with the local office. Had to waste a lot of time calling corporate to see if they were going to show up. Manager was too unconcerned to talk. Once again both parties failed to put the anti-theft sticker on the car. More
Lack of communication and I’d have to text every day to hear updates on my car even though they said I’d hear back from them that day. I am disappointed with the service I received at the dealership recently. My car was in your service department for three weeks, and when I picked it up, I was told that the recall I had brought it in f dealership recently. However, I recently received a call informing me that the recall had not, in fact, been performed. I am concerned about the accuracy of the diagnostics performed for the check engine on my car. I took it to another shop and what they diagnosed does not seem to match what is wrong with the engine or the check engine light. More
