If I could give 0 stars I would. Went with a friend of mine who was getting his 2022 vehicle In for 6 mo checkup and oil change. I wandered the showroom floor, opening vehicle doors looking in, trying doors of others that were locked, basically walked around the showroom minimally 15 minutes or more, not one salesperson approached to see if I needed assistance. My friend, who is male, walks into showroom after getting his car all set up for the service, walks up to a vehicle and in less than a minute, he is approached by a salesperson asking if he needed help! Are you kidding me……I was so angry, I basically told the salesman wow, I have been standing here for 15 minutes and you didn’t ask me if I needed help, why cuz I am a women… There was a vehicle I wanted to look at told Caleb, which one, he brings out the key for an entirely different vehicle. He didn’t seem the least bit interested in my questions… So IDONOT recommend dealing with these people, especially if you are female trying to purchase a vehicle. More
Caleb B. was wonderful to work with! He was able to do almost everything for us right over the phone/computer until we were able to get down to sign our paper was wonderful to work with! I don't recommend anyone to do business here. . I had stopped in to look at a 2014 kia forte I was interested in. I was pressured into signing a purchase agreement for the vehicle after looking at . I had stopped in to look at a 2014 kia forte I was interested in. I was pressured into signing a purchase agreement for the vehicle after looking at it briefly and was told nothing was wrong with the car. Said the tire was a little low that's why the tire pressure sensor was on. I bought the car with the northland package promised to be taken care of the next Saturday. There was no one available to do the service through two different appointments. I had called a couple weeks after purchasing the car to ask for a service report because the car feels unsafe driving on the highway. Service report said the driver lower ball joint is bad and parts were ordered. I assumed it was taken care of. I called and asked the service department if the problem was fixed and they said it was not. I called the sales person and asked about it and asked why I was not told about it before the purchase and he gave me excuses none of which explained anything. Told me well you've been driving it so it's drivable. Yes I had been driving an unsafe vehicle. Thanks. I asked to talk to a manager and I was told what would you even say, and wasn't transferred. The transmission slips. And has a delayed shift from reverse to drive. Has trouble shifting from second to third. The car they sold me for 12 thousand is a piece of junk and they knew it. They even admitted they knew about everything I'm having issues with now and won't do anything about it. They don't return phone calls. I don't recommend doing business with them More
Went and test drove a 2012 Kia Soul. While coming to a stop the brakes would seize and then scrape when I started until they released again, multiple times this happened. when I told the sales guy, he sai stop the brakes would seize and then scrape when I started until they released again, multiple times this happened. when I told the sales guy, he said no the breaks had been gone over. Kia is willing to sell a vehicle that is a danger on the road just to get a sales. This is not the first time I ran across them trying to sell junk cars at top prices. Shame on you and your car dealership! More
I've had recall service done here and I think they add TSB items to the paper work and charge corporate and if the part fails in the future you get "sorry.. that work was already done.. and you only get TSB items to the paper work and charge corporate and if the part fails in the future you get "sorry.. that work was already done.. and you only get one fix" Corporate is no better.. KIa of Duluth sends you to Kia Customer Satisfaction and opens a CASE.. they contact Kia of Dululth and refer your case back to Kia of Duluth. The communcation is awful. No one listens or can resolve a problem they just send you back and forth. Awful service. in Duluth and with corporate. More
They will do anything to screw over people trying to buy a car. Before I signed the paper work for my car they agreed to replacing two tires, fixing/replacing the brakes, and fixing the radio. 2 years later a car. Before I signed the paper work for my car they agreed to replacing two tires, fixing/replacing the brakes, and fixing the radio. 2 years later and I have no radio, and my brakes are shot. The tires are fine. What's the point of having an agreement in place of they can just ignore it. More
Finance department is understaffed and or slow. My bank contacted them at 8:30 AM, they didn't reply until 2:30 so now there's a four day delay before I can get my car. READ THE REVIEWS: Sales 'Manager' TOM BENSON refuses to return ANY calls and has his supervisor(s) deal with it: What then does he even DO? We were in a bind and needed a car. We went to this dealer becaus return ANY calls and has his supervisor(s) deal with it: What then does he even DO? We were in a bind and needed a car. We went to this dealer because we bought out previous car there 10 years prior and wanted to buy a KIA Soul. They had two used ones available, we liked what we saw and were ready to buy. Filled the credit app out & my wife kept saying how bad our credit was (We learned later it was fine - remember that). The sales boy, Jarrett (Not very bright or good at his job) had us look at a car they just got yesterday - a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox (We found later 2010-12 Equinox model was recalled due to faulty drive chain). While waiting after THAT test drive we were told the Equinox was the ONLY OPTION we had - our credit wasn't good enough for the KIA that was only $1K more. As I said, we NEEDED transportation, so we accepted this. Their credit department stuck us with a *15.93%* interest loan - a week later I secured an auto loan at our CU for only 4.25%. They refused to give us a warranty, claiming the vehicle was too old. Of course the car stalled and wouldn't start, thanks to the drive chain, as my wife drove me home from the hospital after another diabetes-related amputation. Of course KIA said they would not accept a return. I called KIA asking to speak to the Sales Manager. Twice, no reply - though someone there called my number - and hung up before I could pick up my phone after ONE RING (Sales supervisor Steve Schiller said he called - he did the same thing with my wife's number, who called and of course got no callback.). The next day I left two messages for the 'manager'. He had Schiller call back, where I proposed a trade-in instead of a repair or return. He had me resubmit a credit application, which I assumed was a formality. I misunderstood: He wanted the 'buy-back' amount to be used for trade-in value minus repair cost, of course. I said I expected fair and equal value to what was paid. He said that or repair or return "was just not gonna happen'. Repairing the drive chain costs about $1500. If the engine has been damaged by the drive chain the engine runs from $3000 for a valve job to $8000 for the engine replacement. My wife wanted the 'manager's e-mail address, and I wanted the Regional Sales Manager (who is either TJ Beadle or Jim Hahne - both hold this title) Mr. Schiller said he would call back with this information. That was two hours ago. THIS IS HOW KIA NOW DOES BUSINESS. More
