Army veteran who served actively for 22 years and worked a total of 30 years for the government, all I know is the importance of integrity. I've now been in the automotive industry for years! I was born and raised in Central NY, and I visit family every summer in Syracuse/Rochester. When my sister reached out to me with her desire for a new vehicle, Mr. Matt Miller is who I spoke with. Yes, he followed up after my initial inquiry, and everything was fabulous to the point of sending a document showing an interest rate of 6.14% with the specific monthly payment. When my sister went into the dealership, a better rate of 5.89% was offered, which is great! Considering the term, the savings were only around $3.00 a month, but over the said term, we're close to $300! When I asked Mr. Miller to compensate for the difference with a set of floor mats at his cost, he would not correct his mistake, which absolutely baffles me when more than $30,000 was just spent and financed through their dealership! The dealership wins, but where's the customer service, the client relation, or Mr. Miller's integrity by simply doing the right thing??? The math is easy if you know anything about the business. I know a lot of people in the area, and I WILL NOT send anyone there for business as long as the GM, Mr. Matt Miller, is in charge!!! I'm highly upset and wish that I sent my sister to another location that understands customer relationship management! More
We highly recommend this dealership. Dan was our salesman and couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating! Not to mention, this is the least pressuring dealership I have ever encountered! I really felt like they were working to help me get what I needed and wanted! This is hard to come by in the sales business, I believe. I will shop here for any future vehicle purchase! More

They called today and wanted to me to make sure insurance was in place. I asked them to confirm VIN number as I couldn't read some of the digits. It didn't match. They gave me a second VIN and it also didn't match. I said I would come to the office to straighten it out. The vehicle they said was mine had almost 200 miles on it. I said that is not what I agreed to buy. A vehicle in transit from the factory shouldn't have more than a few miles on it. They gave me a bunch of double talk, so I said give me my deposit back. They said they would send me a check. We'll see if I get it. I then went to Burdick Kia worked with Zen, their salesperson and he was excellent. I bought the same vehicle for the same with no hassles. Will go directly to Kia Burdick in the future, as I trade every 2-3 years. As an aside, my son bought the same vehicle from Kia East Syracuse about a month ago, and I just found out he had the same issue. More
We purchased an EV6 after extensively reviewing the vehicle and pricing. Barbara, our salesperson, was excellent---very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant and bent over backwards to get us the model vehicle and pricing. Barbara, our salesperson, was excellent---very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant and bent over backwards to get us the model we wanted from out of state at the lowest possible cost to get it here within 6 days. She invited us to come back in a few weeks to see if we needed any help with the complicated (for us) vehicle computer electronics. I am 70 years old and she is the best sales rep I ever have worked with. Pricing was fair and in line with a "fair" to better price as reported by Consumer Reports. No contact with service, management directly. More
Irresponsible and unaccountable management at this stealership. A scrap yard would be a better place to go for customer service and car help than Kia of East Syracuse. That was okay, though, with covid I understand the delay. What I don't understand are the shady business practices. Here are the facts. After negotiating on August 14th, 2021, I was offered $19,375 for my trade in. This was below KBB value, but that's how it goes sometimes. I was also promised 0.9% financing, all of which was in writing. Fast forward to today, when the car showed up... the first contract they show me had a trade in of $18,000 and 2.7% financing. In August I was told their offer was locked in (again in writing). Here is the kicker, my trade in actually APPRECIATED around $2000. The manager wouldn't even meet with me to discuss but instead offered $18,500, still $875 below the initial offer in writing and $3,500 less than the KBB trade in value for a fair conditioned vehicle. (also don't let them fool you, "Fair" trade in isn't a fair deal, but the value of a vehicle that is in "fair" condition, the lowest of KBB's condition options.) I feel that the dealership knew I was excited about this car and would feel pressured to make the deal, so they changed the terms from what was previously IN WRITING. The car is nice but I will never purchase from this place again. As a side note, Stephanie was still awesome and the finance person, I believe Renee, was also great (she caught the brunt of me frustration) Summary: This dealership will lie to you to get your $500 deposit then take advantage of you when your vehicle shows up, so don't trust them. There is a reason stereotypes about car dealers exist.... More
They ran a hard credit report before I had even decided to buy a vehicle from them which caused my fico score to drop 31 points according to my experion app. This was after saleman Dave said he was doing a to buy a vehicle from them which caused my fico score to drop 31 points according to my experion app. This was after saleman Dave said he was doing a soft credit check which would NOT effect my credit score. Needless to say my husband and I are very unhappy and now do not trust the dealership and have gone elsewhere for a vehicle. Unfortunately damage to credit score is already done. More
