I bought a 2023 kia forte, unbenounced they sent me out the door without paystubs, lied to me told me it was awd, it wasn't, then kept having issues had car in there shop for 2 weeks, called customer serv the door without paystubs, lied to me told me it was awd, it wasn't, then kept having issues had car in there shop for 2 weeks, called customer service made a claim, couldn't get any documents to the claims dept, said we put in the wrong gas and it was going to cost 600 dollars , to drain the tank, replace this and that, ....wouldn't provide proper documentation of break down on repairs, repair orders have been botched cut n pasted, the papers are different for each repair order , loan paperwork doesn't match up ...now long story short the vehicle pushed out the door, with bald tires , 46000 miles 24900 now cost 35000 because they lied on all documents , needless to say I'm getting a lawyer and kia and wings financial are going to have to explain why I have all original documents and they have different or none of them all at. Very unprofessional repair work on my Kia Sorento. They called me in for a recall which turned into them doing $4k+ of mechanical work. The issues weren't even fixed after I picked my car up which mad They called me in for a recall which turned into them doing $4k+ of mechanical work. The issues weren't even fixed after I picked my car up which made me return the vehicle to ensure they fixed what I payed for. They held my car for another 3 days and squeezed $1400 more out of me to fix the original issue. How do you not do a quality check after "repairing" the quoted issues. They were not very apologetic when returning my vehicle to get the original issues fixed which leads me to believe bad service happens regularly. They are a bunch of crooks if you asked me and I highly encourage people to stay away! Had way better experiences at McKays and St. Cloud Hyundai dealerships in town. More
Absolute epitome of used car salesman xxxx. Cody sold us a 2018 for explorer that needed over $800 of work, we had dangerously bad ball joints while my wife was nine months pregnant. I called n Cody sold us a 2018 for explorer that needed over $800 of work, we had dangerously bad ball joints while my wife was nine months pregnant. I called numerous times asking for even a partial refund. Cody won't even answer his phone, and the manager Hugo tries to talk a smooth game, but then ghosts you. They put a family with 2 young children and a pregnant woman in severe danger, the mechanic stated they were the worst he's ever seen. Hope the $800 was worth putting my family in danger. More
I’ve called multiple times for a receipt on an issue the store said they would fix. It was a towing fee. My optima engine went out and it was covered under warranty. I was told by the dealership they will h store said they would fix. It was a towing fee. My optima engine went out and it was covered under warranty. I was told by the dealership they will handle the case, and I should see the reimbursement in 6 weeks. 6 weeks go by, and I’m told to wait another 2 weeks. 2 weeks ago, I’m told to wait 2 more. 2 more weeks go by, I’m told they’re behind and it may be another month. Frustrating, but I’m understanding. A month goes, I call and I’m now told it was MY responsibility to submit everything. We’re nearly 4 months out at this point and I’m just told this. I express how I haven’t been told this, and I just get shrug and I’m told to google Kia customer support and go from there. No website provided, just told to google. Submit my case, a month later, I’m told I need a receipt from Kia, not just the towing fee. I had 30 days to provide it. I call 15 times within those 30 days for a receipt (I live an hour away). I’m told every time, our service manager has to send that and he’s busy. I was told he would either call back or send the email. Literally provided the same email 15 times. Well I never get an email or a call back and my case is closed. Out 300 bucks now on a towing fee because of negligence. Update. I ended up stopping in to get a receipt (hour out of my way). Express my frustration, that I called 15 times within a month to get a receipt. Lucas’s response was, “I always call back”. Obviously, you don’t. If you did, I wouldn’t have been in there. Either way, I got a big I don’t care vibe. Anyways, I get a receipt, which he says your case should still be open, just upload the receipt. I express how I had 30 days, and that’s why I called for a receipt 15 times. I’m told not to worry about it and it will be fine. I go home, resubmit it, case is denied and now I’m having to do more work just to get a tow fee back, on a warranty fix. We’re at almost 7 months at this point. I did talk to Matt in sales and he was terrific! That guy deserves a raise. It takes a lot for me to go out of my way and leave a negative review, but I am at this point with Kia of St. Cloud. I will never shop at this dealership again because of how poorly this was handled. More
I don't recommend doing any kind of business with this dealer. Service Department is very unprofessional and upcharge services, ESPECIALLY if you are a woman. (Read previous posts) I initially called t dealer. Service Department is very unprofessional and upcharge services, ESPECIALLY if you are a woman. (Read previous posts) I initially called to schedule a recall on my vehicle and although the scheduling and customer service staff was very accommodating and friendly, the service department was not. In addition to the recall work, I had a couple electronic things that I asked if they could look at. The scheduler told me that wouldn't be a problem and would charge $100 diagnostic fee for all of it. When I dropped the car off, I spoke to Jesse, who informed me that I misunderstood somehow and that it is $100 per issue, so the two issues I had with (a short in my radio and the shifter being stuck in park randomly) would be $200. Which should have all been caught on the original diagnostic. He called me the next day to tell me he needed another day of diagnostics and it would cost another $130. I told him again that that wasn't what I was quoted, and told him I would agree to pay it, but wasn't happy about it and was going to ask to go back to the scheduler to confirm out initial conversation of what i understood regarding the $100 diagnostic fee. I spoke with the scheduler and confirmed that what I heard was correct, but when I told Jesse that I am concerned about paying the $330 he told me "You gave me your verbal approval over the phone, and I have your car, so you'll have to pay it." I asked him for a detailed report of the Diagnostic report and am still waiting. Very sketchy. Also, I had called and tried to talk to a Supervisor and was repeatedly either hung up on or sent to a random voicemail. I never write reviews but wanted to save someone else from being scammed by them. Please do yourself a favor and save money by doing your research, read reviews and go somewhere else for your car needs. I wasn't going to give them any stars at all, but you have to give 1 star at least in order to post. More
!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I was sold a Camaro and the title was stamped LEMON LAW. At time of purchase Kia did not disclose this information. Per Federal Law they were supposed to. I traded in a beautiful Cama was stamped LEMON LAW. At time of purchase Kia did not disclose this information. Per Federal Law they were supposed to. I traded in a beautiful Camaro w less then 10K miles on it and they laughed all the way to the bank! I wouldn't have made the trade if I had known this information. I am out money, a car and the piece of mind. I will never trust this company again! I am posting ths so that hopefully the next buyer won't go through what I have. Its heart breaking. She is beautiful and powerful, but I couldn't justify paying that much for a car that has known issues. Shame on you Kia! Yours Truly, A Lost Loyal Customer More
I purchased a 2017 Kia Optima on 1/17/23. After getting the car home I noticed the drivers side tail light was brok. Cody the sales rep who sold me the vehicle was informed of the broken tail After getting the car home I noticed the drivers side tail light was brok. Cody the sales rep who sold me the vehicle was informed of the broken tail light on 1/18/23 and he said he would have the tail light fixed. Before I could get the vehicle into have it sercived the car started randomly alarming and the car system showed that the right rear passenger door was open when it was closed. This issue drained my battery to the point where I could even unlock the doors with my key fab. By this point I was frustrated because I had only had this car a couple weeks and my temper was short with staff. When I got the car in, and voiced my concerns. Hugo the used car sales manager stated how he put all this work into the car. I was never provided me the carfax when I purchased the vehicle. I have asked for a copy of the carfax and an invoice of the services Hugo did. Which I have yet to receive. When called by Jesse the service advisor I was informed that the latch was replaced. I asked if the tail light was also replaced. Jesse stated he wasn't aware that the tail light was being replaced. When I asked if the tail light was getting repaired I was placed on hold. When Jesse returned I was told that the tail light wasn't getting replaced because they put a $700 latch in. I was told that I would have to pay for a replacement tail light. I appreciate the latch them being fixed and pray I don't run into any other issues. Thankfully, I have family and friends who have offered to help replace the tail light. Lesson learned. I will never be doing business with Kia of St. Cloud ever again and won't recommend you guys to anyone after this experience. More
Put money down on a telluride. Came in over a year later after they said it would be here in six to 8 months. They low balled me on my trade in and said that they would give me $7 Came in over a year later after they said it would be here in six to 8 months. They low balled me on my trade in and said that they would give me $7000 for it. When the vehicle did come in (not the one I originally ordered) the price went up $5000. Then they said that I had to have a trade in to get the telluride. They then said that they would only give me $4500 for my vehicle since it had more miles on it and was a year older. I told them that I would pay full sticker price for the SUV and they refused to sell it to me since I would not have a trade in. I refused the SUV. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and the attorney general. I encourage others to do the same. I think they were taking advantage of a woman and a senior citizen. More
