We went to Kia (just to browse) one night after I got off work to try to lift our spirits -- we were "down in the dumps" because it was raining yet again in the beautiful sunny state of Florida. Daniel greet work to try to lift our spirits -- we were "down in the dumps" because it was raining yet again in the beautiful sunny state of Florida. Daniel greeted us promptly, knew we were only browsing and showed us numerous cars in the rain anyway. That was Thursday night. Friday I got off work early, called my husband to come pick me up and when he did, he said "I think we'll go buy a car!" I truly thought he was joking. But off we went to Bill Bryan Kia. We called ahead to let Daniel know we were coming. He was busy, but greeted us anyway and then Ron took over. We test drove the Optima, asked questions, talked price and trade-in, shook hands, did lots of paperwork and woke up this morning to a gorgeous Kia Optima in our garage. We hadn't purchased a car since 1999 and while the process is much more lengthy, they took care of us with food and drink and made the wait worthwhile. Thumbs up to Daniel and Ron. More
After checking out various vehicles on the internet, I touched base with my credit union. Apparently, this information it sent to a variety of local dealers. I had hoped to keep as local as possible so Bill Bryan was my first choice. Their internet sales staff were not too aggressive which I appreciated tremendously. Another dealer was entirely too aggressive which definitely turned me off. Multiple calls & text messages daily is quite aggravating. Bill Bryan's staff did touch base, but did not hound me. I was not too impressed when dealing with Donnie on the phone. He was not the most friendly until I told him I wanted to set up an appointment to purchase a vehicle. When I arrived to look at the vehicles, I was approached by a sales rep, but when I stated I did not need help, that person did not hound me & left my husband & I to look as we pleased. When I was ready, we went inside & requested the young lady that my appointment had been set up with. She was not in which really did not disappointment me since I had no interaction with her previously. I was then introduced to Dale Smith. Dale was a joy to work with. He was not at all aggressive. He realized that I knew what I wanted and was not going to be coerced into something else. Randy was very enjoyable to work with as well. I found it very interesting that he has such a soothing voice when dealing with finance. Thank you guys for everything. More
