$5000 deal was kind of a gimmick to get you in the door. They did however give me $4000 for my trade but the sticker price was jacked up over the value of the car because of the trade deal. They did drop the price after the negotiation to a more reasonable price. The finance lady did get us a good deal with the loan. We were satisfied with the monthly payment. I test drove a vehicle over night and when I returned it we discussed some figures for a price, and when I said that I wanted to go home and think about it they said okay and to be sure that everything was acceptable. When I did come back a week later the Sorento that I test drove had been sold they had another one that had a few more options and was more expensive but they told me not to worry, the price we had talked about would be applied to the new vehicle without any price increase. The whole shopping experience was the best one that I have had in a long time, and I would and will recommend Bill Bryan Kia to anyone that I see. The whole sales team was very friendly and knowledgable from my sales man Gary Johnson, sales manger Humberto, and sales manager Gerald. My Sorento drives like your riding on a cloud, and everyone that has seen it thinks it is sharp and my Uncle JD in Vero Beach said that I will not have to take a back seat to any other SUV not even a Cadillac. Laurie and I were able to discuss the price of the car for an hour without being disagreeable. Fianally we arrived at a price I was willing to pay. She was friendly, courteous and professional. We actually had an appointment to see a particular pre-owned car that we'd seen on the Bill Bryan website. Although we arrived 15 minutes early, Jason was able to attend to us promptly. It took a few minutes to locate the vehicle (it was being cleaned), but we went for a test drive and found that the Sedona Minivan was in great shape and handled very well. The price was at least $2,000 less than we'd seen anywhere else (in a three county area), and $4,000 less than the average market price right now. I wish we could have gotten a little more for our trade-in, but our car was 10 years old and we didn't expect a whole lot. Jason was immensely helpful, even to phoning our insurance company to make sure the new car was covered and getting us a new insurance card for the drive home; he even offered to help me load my husband's electric scooter into the new van. I'd highly recommend Bill Bryan Kia; after quite a bit of experience with car dealers, I appreciate not feeling like I'm being gouged or pressured and -as a woman- being treated as though I know something about cars (and I do). All the employees we saw were courteous and friendly, and I would certainly recommend Jason as a great salesman. I am now writing six months after my purchase. If you purchase from BB Kia, be SURE to tell them to put your phone number on a DO NOT CALL list. I have just had a woman from BB Kia call to ask how our service visit was last week, wake up guests in my home, and then became very rude and hung up in my face when I asked that they not call me any more. Don't know how everyone else feels about unsolicited phone calls, but we don't care for them here. And, while I'm on the subject, we called to schedule an oil change and the office staff gave us the wrong date twice, even after repeated phone calls. After being told that an oil change would only take 30-45 minutes, it took over two hours. At least the service department personnel were polite! ALSO - if you are considering purchasing a Kia, please be advised that, if you use an iPod, you must buy a special adaptor (peculiar to Kia only) and the dealer will NOT provide it. Check Amazon.com for the best price, because the dealership price is about 3 times more. More
