The salesman on duty was Marc Urbano, and from the get-go Marc was professional, but not high-pressure. Marc answered all my questions, took my daughter and I on a test drive and, once I decided to purchase made the negotiation process very easy and low-stress. I was able to negotiate a price lower then the interest list price fairly quickly. As an older single woman buying a used car I felt comfortable, listened to and respected. Once I moved on to the Finance Dept. Tyler was also very professional, organized, and low-key. All the paperwork was already prepared, Tyler explained each paper to be signed, and when he offered me additional options to purchase they were listed side-by-side for an easy new payment comparison. For the items I declined Tyler simply replied, "OK" and again, I felt no pressure to purchase something I didn't want or need. I would definitely recommend a friend to this dealership or return when I need another vehicle. More

But when I arrived at KIA of Puyallup (March 2011), I was pleasantly greeted by a very nice young man. I chose to go ahead and try the other vehicles I needed to check off my list, then returned to KIA of Puyallup. The young man was working with other people, so we were handed off to Rich Purdy, and this was the best experience I had ever had buying a car. Rich was an amazing person to work with. I don't do all the back and forth and haggling, and I was very upfront with him about it and he took note. I gave him my bottom line, and he did his part. I drove out that day, my birthday, with a new Sportage. I was so happy with the experience, I wrote a letter to the dealership on his behalf without his knowledge. He called that next week to thank me, as the letter was read in their weekly sales meeting to everyone in attendance. Fast forward almost exactly three years ... my husband and I are at the dealership getting the oil changed in my Sportage, and head over to sales to say hello to Rich. My husband starts eyeing the KIA Cadenza on the showroom floor. I convinced him to take a drive in it and see what he thought. Well, long story short, we test drove both the Cadenza and the Sorento that day, then returned the next day to talk to Rich. We left that afternoon with a 2014 KIA Cadenza, and a 2014 KIA Sorento! Rich is just the best, I can't praise him enough. During the process of we found out poor Rich was having a little 'freak out' because this sale was his first ever two-car sale. Between he and the dealership, they figured out how to get us both cars, with all the possible discounts available! Rich is truly the best and he's such a happy and fun person to work with!! I partially negotiated this deal on the internet and phone, went in for a test drive, sat down reviewed the numbers we had talked about, had my trade-in appraised and got a good market value, finished the deal. Quite simply, they put our expectations extremely high and were disappointed with the other dealerships we went to. Bob was our salesman and he was absolutely awesome. We took about 3 weeks to buy the car and he was always in consistent communication with us but we never felt pressured or unhappy about him calling. We expressed our interest in other vehicles, he encouraged we find the right fit, even if it wasn't the Soul (or even a Kia.) Nevertheless, we are extremely happy with our purchase and made it a point to buy through Bob. Thanks again! More

Chris Cole helped us through all of the decisions related to the best trim level and options for us. During this long process, he was helpful, but not pushy like some of the sales staff at other dealerships. That's what earned our trust in Chris and in Kia of Puyallup. The final purchase required him to dash to another dealer to get the exact car we were looking for! And, as frosting on the cake, there was absolutely no sales pressure from the finance department.
