Kia of South Austin

Since I have moved to Texas, Kia of South Austin is the only dealership I have used for service to my 2019 Sportage. This is the first time I've had a Service Advisor who kept me advised of the progress o only dealership I have used for service to my 2019 Sportage. This is the first time I've had a Service Advisor who kept me advised of the progress of my service being performed. He is also the first one who did not tell me how to answer the review questions. Rudy is very respectful and naturally perceptive of the customer's needs. In my opinion he is an asset to Kia of South Austin's staff. Rudy gets 10 stars in my book!!!! As I am not mechanically inclined, I trust your service department to do their best to satisfy the customer and take care of their vehicle. Normally I have no complaints, however this time, after the tire check and rotation which I requested, I was left with 1 tire 5psi under-inflated. Usually not a big deal but during this cold weather, it is a big deal. I was not expecting to have to stop somewhere and pay to take care of it. The other issue with after-service - I have to go back through and figure out how to reset all of my preferred settings. I know this seems trivial but for a 73 year old woman it is a major issue. Last but certainly not least - I love my KIA Sportage!!! I previously had a SOUL, but needed something a little larger. So glad I found the Sportage. It has been dependable for long trips as well as an all around town vehicle. More

Bought a new 2023 Kia Sorento in October of 2023. December 15, 2023 the engine over heated and the radiator coolant exited the radiator. Towed it to Kia South Austin and they said it would be 2 1/2 w December 15, 2023 the engine over heated and the radiator coolant exited the radiator. Towed it to Kia South Austin and they said it would be 2 1/2 weeks before a technician could look at the car. Kia of South Austin does not provide a loaner car or rental car even though our brand new Sorento is not drivable. It is now December 23rd and we are still without a car and our Sorento has not been looked at by a technician. More

I'm not happy with Kia South Austin I came by 2 times to pick my car up. It was either no keys or were not sure if repairs are done and your service advisor isn't here Picked it up today I was told 2 to pick my car up. This dealership is very hectic. There are more cars crammed onto this dealership than would seem to fit on a lot twice the size. It is a little bit challenging to even drive into the service area. Service attendant was very friendly. I was there for a simple oil change. Two of my tires were giving a warning for low psi. Service attendant offered to fill them up, which was great. That’s why I pay 85 dollars for an oil change, I told myself, for nice extras like that. However after I drove away I found that they had filled up only the two that had the warning. So I drove away with two at the proper 35 psi and the other two at 29 psi, just barely above warning level. Seriously? I then had to go to a gas station and fill the other two myself. Thanks for nothing. More
