A salesperson (def not a man in my book) name Malik attempted to guide my wife towards a voluntary repossession in order to get her to the monthly payment we needed. I was getting a CEL on my 2016 Kia Forte. I took it in on Feb 19 2025. I was assured that everything would be taken care of under warranty, even the rental car. On the 28th I picked the car u I took it in on Feb 19 2025. I was assured that everything would be taken care of under warranty, even the rental car. On the 28th I picked the car up, on the way home the CEL light came back on. Turned around and took it back. Now they want receipts for oil changes, I do basic maintenance myself and kept the purchase records and kept records in the owners manual. (I'm 62 and did machine maintenance for my entire adult life). I wait a few days, call, leave a message, No one returns my call. TWO WEEKS go by like this. I drive to the dealer to find out the service rep had left the company the previous week. NO ONE CALLED ME. I called Kia HQ, they advise me to take the car to another Kia dealer. They start another case, warranty denied. To say the least, I will NEVER own another Kia again. More
