Jason Washington was so professional and understanding with our big family needs as we brought our newborn and two other kids under three years old with us. He even entertained our kids when he could and brought plenty of things to preoccupy their time (coloring books and a tablet to watch bluey on). He was very personable and very well spoken. If you’re looking for a great salesman who is not pushy but speaks for your needs with the finance team, definitely recommend him! Thank you Kia of Streetsboro team! BUYER BEWARE! I am flabbergasted at the lack of accountability and fair business practice I experienced at Kia of Streetsboro. After paying nearly $30K for a brand I am flabbergasted at the lack of accountability and fair business practice I experienced at Kia of Streetsboro. After paying nearly $30K for a brand new 2024 Kia Sportage, I reached out to the dealership because the rear car mats clearly did not fit. I was happy to wait as they reordered new mats. When I went to pick up the new mats, they still did not fit, as witnessed by two of their parts department workers. I was told there are no mats that will fit the back of my Sportage correctly unless I go somewhere else and purchase after market mats. At this time I was still understanding, assuming I would be refunded the $175 I paid as a dealer add on to receive the car mats upon purchasing the vehicle. Imagine my surprise when, after speaking with several people at the dealership, including a manager, that they will not provide a refund. The manager, Gus, even went so far as to say he KNEW about the issue as he has the same car and the only resolution is to buy after market mats. So essentially, I paid $175 for car mats (separate add on line item) that were KNOWN to NOT FIT and I am not entitled to a refund? This type of shady business practice is unethical, unfair and most definitely the poorest display of customer service I have ever experienced. (The only bright spot in my experience was our floor salesman, Cleo. He was amazing throughout the entire car buying process and he tried hard to obtain the fair and appropriate outcome for this issue but sadly to no avail.) More
We stopped to look a vehicle while in the area on a visit. A few days later we communicated with the sales person about possible purchase of the car and were told to use this dealer's online trade est visit. A few days later we communicated with the sales person about possible purchase of the car and were told to use this dealer's online trade estimator to detemine a potential trade amount. The sales person said we would be in the range given by their online estimator so we made arrangements to travel some distance to test drive the car and get a firm trade value. When we got to the dealership, we were told the car was not there despite being texted during the trip that it would be there. Later that day, the dealership offered to bring the car to us for a test drive and to appraise our possible trade. On the day this was to happen, they informed us that there was an issue with the stated trade value range and offered us a significantly lower trade estimate by thousands of dollars. In addition to the inconvenience and waste of time of our trip, we also felt that their online trade estimator was very inaccurate. The estimator gives you a much higher value than they are willing to actually offer. We did get a call from a manager apologizing for what had happened and a pledge to look into the trade in issue and to call back. The call did not happen. Finally after several weeks, another manager called and explained their position on the trade in. His explanation did not justify the trade in discrepancy we experienced. Buyer beware would be our advice to anyone considering purchasing from this dealership especially if you use their online trade in estimator. More
My wife and I went to Kia of Streetsboro wanting to purchase a new Sorento and with the understanding, that we would walk away if we were not able to agree on a price that met our budget. We worked with Vince and Gus during our negotiations and I must say this car-buying experience was the BEST we've ever experienced. They were very knowledgeable about their vehicles and shared multiple options with us during the process, the best feeling we had was how calm and without pressure the entire process went. At the end of the negotiations we purchased the vehicle we wanted and we stayed within our budget. Hats off to Vince and Gus and this dealership for an outstanding car-buying experience!! We must also add how smooth the financial process went, they have a digital process where you sign your name ONCE and then walk through all the financial documentation and you only have to touch the areas to add your signature digitally, an outstanding process! One last additional note, we had an 11-year-old vehicle with mechanical needs and we were able to obtain a FAIR value for that vehicle even though it required repairs, Thank you, Vince and Gus for a great car buying experience. Great job by your entire team! We appreciated all the detail, quality and care you all showed us during the process! More
I came in to look at a sportage with no intention to purchase. The knowledge Vince had and how polite he was I would of liked to purchase several more! Buying a car here was a good experience. Service department is another matter altogether. They are horribly understaffed (or else they just don't bother to ever return phone calls, I don't k Service department is another matter altogether. They are horribly understaffed (or else they just don't bother to ever return phone calls, I don't know). I have had experiences here twice now and both were the same. The service dept never answers their phone when you call; you can only leave a message. I left one this morning 10 minutes after they opened. It's now 30 minutes until they close for the day and they've still not called me back. I am going to try to get a refund on the service package I bought from them because deaing with them is so frustrating that I'd rather take my car just about anywhere else at this point. More
