I made an appointment for a recall notice I received. When I got there, I was told that they did not have the part! The service department has moved and nobody told me that when I made the appointment! I When I got there, I was told that they did not have the part! The service department has moved and nobody told me that when I made the appointment! I live 30 minutes away and went on a wild goose chase trying to find them. When I made the appointment, I should have been told that the part was not in yet and, also should have been informed of the new address! They tried to sell me an oil change! I will never go back there and will go to Scott in Springfield instead. Very poorly managed service department with little regard for customer service. More
We were disappointed at the dealership and our poor experience there was not expected at all. The $76,000 EV9 GT-Line was parked beside a busy street, covered in dirt. The dealer, advertised as “KIA of West Chester,” turned out to be something ekse entirely: “KIA Jim Sipala.” Apparently Mr. Sipala felt that I needed religious guidance. A Bible message was attached to the keys of the car we bought. The initial internet contact was through Alexandria Duff who set.up a meeting with “Greg” on Tuesday April 9th at 11:00. She included directions and a nice color picture of the facility. The picture turned out to be an excellent color drawing of a building yet to be built. It’s currently under construction. Greg apparently had little time for us and we were handed off to Stephen Washington who over the next few hours apologized for the missing Greg and to spin a bright light on the company. (On the day were there, the entire operation was working out of two joined trailers. Greg rushed in to negotiate the deal and quickly departed. The business end was handled by the only true professional in the building: Christopher Tomlinson. It was the only truly pleasant experience we had. Finally, the car wasn’t ready for sale and has problems to be addressed by another KIA dealer. More
needed a replacement key for my KIA. Took 2 1/2 hours. Asked if the key had been tried in the ignition when they made it. "I dunno" was the response. No. was the response to me asking Took 2 1/2 hours. Asked if the key had been tried in the ignition when they made it. "I dunno" was the response. No. was the response to me asking the manager to verify for me. But in a condescending manner agreed to go with me to my car to try the new key. It didn't go into the ignition. Manager told me I should be glad he checked it before he sent me off. At that remark, I looked at him incredulously and said, I had to insist you come with me. You didn't offer to come out and you wouldn't check if it had been tried. Manager added he would have the tech correct it and be right back. Returned to say a new key had to be cut, but just 15 minutes. A half hour later handed the new key to me which went into the ignition but wouldn't turn. Took it back "for adjustment ". Returned to say that was their last steel and would order more and " you can just stop by in a few days and have it made." oh, and isn't this just so you have a spare key anyway? I had paid $318 for nothing! To sit in an uncomfortable chair for 2 1/2 hours while the 2 managers watched sports on TV and made jokes to each other. I don't live 15 minutes from the location. It's not a "stop by" trip! The radio was on when I turned on the car with my original key - set to a station I have never listened to. The clock was off by hours. Everything about this expensive attempt to get a key cut was disgusting. I still have to return and hope there is an employee there who knows how to do the task. More
Great people that communicate very well and provide excellent service. They explain all aspects of the current service and even prepare you for upcoming services (new tires..50,000 Mike service...etc) excellent service. Took my wife's Kia to the new site in West Chester this morning for a "supposed recall" and for the second time was told her car does not need it. Supposedly, they had the wrong vehicle listed. While there morning for a "supposed recall" and for the second time was told her car does not need it. Supposedly, they had the wrong vehicle listed. While there, asked them to remove the old oil sticker and put the new one for the oil change we had done a few months ago. Never received the $150 Master card for getting 4 new tires that the purchase allowed. A couple months ago had made arrangements to take her car down to see if she could get a good deal on trade in. Never heard from their salesperson. Have bought 4-5 cars from them, but service and integrity apparently have changed with them. Very disappointed! More
