My issue is that when I purchased the vehicle, I was told an 800 dollar freight charge was not added to the advertised price of the car. I negotiated a little and got the price down to something in my budget, which included this 800 freight charge. I am now looking at my Truth in Lending disclosure. The Truth in Lending disclosure has a line item for freight charges. Now, Pierce didn't do my paperwork- I believe Jamal did. However, none of my paperwork lists the 800 fee they charged me. For me it's a lesson learned- I love my new Sorento, however if I ever buy from Laurel Kia, I will be sure to ensure what I'm told matches the paperwork. Recommend with caution. More

2017 Sportage I first saw the 2017 Sportage at the D.C. Auto Show. I was so impressed that I went to the Baltimore show to view it again. I had been considering the I first saw the 2017 Sportage at the D.C. Auto Show. I was so impressed that I went to the Baltimore show to view it again. I had been considering the Subaru Forrester because of its safety ratings, but after reading preliminary reviews about the Sportage, it became my car of choice. I went through Truecar and was given three car dealers. I was "underwhelmed" by dealer reps from two of the dealerships. Pierce York responded from Laurel Kia. Thank goodness!! He is honest, personable, helpful and knowledgeable. Going through Trucar, I chose an interior color that wasn't in stock anywhere in the area. Pierce worked with his management to ensure I got what I wanted. Once they discovered the car was being shipped, he tracked it until it arrived at the Philadelphia port. When there were multiple delays in it being sent to Laurel, he pushed everyone to get it delivered. Once the car was in, I also worked with Lisa Steele in the business office. Another fine example of personable professionalism! Laurel Kia's criteria for its personnel must be centered around people who take real customer service seriously. I will definitely recommend Laurel Kia to others. More

My brand new Sorento I've never owned a brand new car, but have had bad luck on two used cars in a row. When we finally decided it was time to get a brand new car, Kia was I've never owned a brand new car, but have had bad luck on two used cars in a row. When we finally decided it was time to get a brand new car, Kia was not our top choice. However, after working with Jamal Allen at Laurel Kia, that changed. Jamal was very easy to work with. He wasn't one of those salespeople that harass you nonstop about buying a car. He was very easy-going about the entire experience and would check up on me every few days or so, not every day, which is what I had been experiencing with the other dealers. He didn't continue to "go talk to his manager to see what they could do"; he gave it to me straight on what the costs of the vehicles were that we were looking at and worked with me and my budget to get me the best bang for my buck. He was patient and accommodating and I'm extremely happy with my purchase, which a lot had to do with Jamal. More

I heard the Laurel Kia ad on the radio multiple times and decided to call. I'm so glad I did. I spoke with Pierce who was very nice, patient and understanding. He instructed me to go online and do the pre approval app. He got back in contact with me immediately and set a date for me to come in. The process was a breeze and I walked out of there with a brand new 2016 Kia Optima. If only Pierce could see the look on my five year olds face when I picked her up from school in our brand new car. Because of Pierce my year long rough journey without a car no longer exist and I'm forever grateful. I recommend any and everyone if you're looking for a car and a stress free car buying process Laurel Kia is the place to go!!!!!!! More
